I know the title of this article is "You got these people in your life?" Bare with me please, and keep reading. Some ground work needs to be established first in this article, before we get to are these people in your life?

WHAT'S GOING ON AT YOUR PERSONAL ALTAR?

In the history of the tabernacle, the same altar was used for 270 years.

II Kings 16: 10 - 18; Isaiah 7: 3 -9

Do you have a personal altar in your life?

If you're sliding or drifting from God, it starts with you drifting away from your personal altar.

If you don't protect the altar in your life, you'll begin to replace your personal altar with carnal things.

Is your prayer life's standard set according to the world i.e. like a hybrid, watered-downed religious activity?
Or, is your prayer life's standard according God and of heart-wrenching transparency and honesty before the Holy Spirit?

Once you loose the personal altar, you loose your direction.
Once you loose conviction in your life, you begin to pick up the very things the Holy Spirit has delivered you from.
Once you loose your personal altar, your begin to slowly lower your standards.
Once you loose your personal altar, you choose to shut the door on the Holy Spirit convicting you.

The altar is not a place where you simply inquire when you are in trouble.

The altar in its ultimate purpose, is a place where you die to your flesh and you die to yourself, where you die to your own will and your own desire.

When you little-by-little remove your altar, your prayer life [which should include praying in your heavenly prayer language] and killing the flesh is no longer a priority.

You and I need the altar, the old fashioned altar of God, because as long as you and I breathe, the following will be continuous:

a) your flesh continues to try to override your spirit.
b) another part of yourself will always need to die.
c) you and I will always need to pray constantly, specifically when we don't feel like it.

Every Christian believer needs the following three types of people in your life.

YOU got THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE?

Who are the Paul's in your life? These Paul-type people are above your spiritual level, they can check you and hold you accountable? The Paul-type people in your life are a very select, few people that you'll rearrange your schedule for when they call you up because they have heard from the Holy Spirit specifically for you.

- the relationship with these Paul-type people should NOT be codependent
- the relationship with these select Paul-type people should NOT have a trace of manipulation
- your relationship with these few Paul-type people should NOT have any trace of fear in it

Who are the Timothy's in your life? These are people that you pour into their life spiritually? Your spiritual maturity is more developed than theirs. This select group of people seeks you out, they respect you, your character draws them.

- the relationship with these Timothy-type people should have boundaries established up front
- the relationship with these Timothy-type people should NOT have a trace of control from you in their lives
- the relationship with these few Timothy-type people are usually for a season
release and conclude the relationship amicably when the season ends with each of these people

Who are the Barnabas' in your life? These are your spiritual peers, you all are on the same level of maturity. These are people you sharpen and they sharpen you. You need to hang out with these like-minded people because you all are of like faith.

When you show signs of loosing the altar in your life, REMEMBER the Paul-type, Timothy-type and Barnabas-type people are in your life from God -- so do not resent these chosen people. When these people speak, correct, challenge, irritate and admonish you about the "its" in your life, don't shun them, please beloved reader.

- the character of these Paul/Timothy/Barnabas people should show evidence that they thirst and seek God regularly

Inkberry | Herb no. 1 for cancer disorders

The name Inkberry derives from the practice of using the juice from the berries of this plant as a ready made natural ink for writing letters home during the U.S. war between the states when supplies or regular ink were short.

The root of this herb has the particular ability to excite the entire glandular system to expel mercury. It has achieved distinction in the battle to dissolves cancers and tumors. It is taken by Native Americans to prevent and dissolve cancers and tumors.

When using Inkberry keep the bowels open with a natural bowel cleaner, such as Cascara Sagrada or Buckthorn or combination C.C.E.-W, otherwise, you may experience some nausea or discomfort as the Inkberry dissolves the cancer or tumor. Use a bowel cleaner in sufficient quantities to produce at least two, preferably three, bowel movements or more per day.

Osha | Herb no. 2 for cancer disorders

Osha is, in many ways, related to the herb Angelica and can be used for similar purposes. Osha, however, has been used, not just for the stomach to promote proper stomach acid, but has much successful folk use for what we now know are immune system problems and problems resulting from virus attacks.

North American pioneer medicine is not speculative, but rather very direct. You used what you knew worked, by use and direct observation, and just solved the problem. And if it is a purely physical problem, it gets solved in a hurry. Even when it was not purely physical, at least some relief from suffering could be expected.

Osha belongs to this class of remedies, and survives as folk knowledge because of its reliability and not because of scientific experimentation. Hence, its reputation in the use of destroying cancerous conditions and correcting immune system problems, by, as we know today, reviving the immune system and getting the body in condition to use its own natural potent weapons of immunity.

Dose | 40 drops per day as maintenance of the immune system, and eliminate the junk foods and the crummy yummies from the diet. 40 to 80 drops, three times per day, to recover immune functions. In crisis conditions, give 40 drops per hour, keep the person covered up warmly [with natural fiber bedding] and let them sweat it out. Give a cup of Yarrow for any thirst during this procedure.

Sheep Sorrel | Herb no. 3 for cancer disorders

The Shaker religious community of the U.S. puts forth as one of their principles, the concept of health as being normal and illness as being abnormal. Part of their search for health includes the knowledge of how to use Sheep Sorrel to prevent scurvy. Scurvy, as we know today, is a potentially fatal disease caused by a deficiency of a vitamin called Vitamin C.

The effects caused by scurvy are very similar to what happens in the case of advanced age where deterioration of the body takes place and death ensues. When it was first used by the Shakers, they, as other people, had never heard of vitamins. Yet, they knew Sheep Sorrel prevented scurvy. They also used it to cure scrofula [glandular swellings], skin diseases, boils [with external applications], and, in extract form, to cure cancers and tumors.

Here is a plant which combines the unique features of combating the ravages of aging and reverses the condition of bad cells. It is understandable that many people enjoy making Sheep Sorrel a part of their daily supplemental program. A more recent development is to incorporate Sheep Sorrel into a support formula known as P.C.- C. to combat bad cells which can be used in the same way as Sheep Sorrel.

Dose | 40 drops, 3 times per day. In times of crisis, as with boils and swellings, 40 to 80 drops hourly while awake. If bad cells in the body, then 1 tbl. 3 times per day. For an external application: Apply to the skin of the affected area one after the other 1) Vitamin E with Selenium from 100 i.u. capsules; 2) Herbal Adjustment; and, 3) Oil of Cajeput.

Then soak a single layer of cheese cloth or absorbent gauze with Sheep Sorrel. Place the cloth over the area. Lay a piece of plastic sandwich wrap over this, cover with another cloth and fix in place.

Leave on overnight, each night, until the area is corrected. In the morning, remove and discard the application [never reuse the application]. Wash the area and allow to dry. If needed, a daytime application, in the same manner, can be done to speed the healing process.

Spring Violet | Herb no. 4 for cancer disorders

Both leaves and flowers are active. A specific for ear disturbances and has a soothing effect on inflamed surfaces. For headache, saturate a cotton cloth [cheese cloth or absorbent gauze] and apply to the back of the neck, persistently, until discomfort lifts.

TB [tuberculosis] of the skin and eczema yield to the corrective properties of violets. Since ancient times, cancerous growths, especially of the throat and tongue, are consistently reported to be dissolved.

Dose | For the ear [always work on both ears as they are sympathetic], swab the ear canal with Vitamin E with Selenium oil from 100 i.u. capsules, then insert a cotton ball saturated with Spring Violet extract. Leave in overnight and repeat the procedure for daytime.

This process acts as a time release of constant soothing and healing qualities. The extract may appear hot at first, but this soon abates. Internally, 40 drops to 1 tbl. in a cup of water. Sip slowly, 4 times per day, or as needed for hoarseness.

Sweet Root | Herb no. 5 for cancer disorders

This beautiful, little, erect-standing, yellow-flowered, water loving plant has helped the most helpless of stomach and intestinal cases. Regular daily use of Sweet Root builds immunity; especially against the flu. Where sickness of known or unknown origin had reduced the body to skin and bones and a person could not gain weight back, Sweet Root has worked miracles.

If frostbite, cover the area with Sweet Root extract and alternate warm, hot and cool cloths until circulation returns. Its action is especially centered on normal function of pancreas, spleen, gall bladder, liver, stomach, and intestinal tract. Sweet Root proves the old rule: If you can just get them digesting their food again [good food, not junk food], they can get well regardless of how hopeless it looks. Many people can no longer digest grains, especially wheat.

They eat their wheat bread or pasta or cereal and then it eats them. The lining of the intestines is dissolved. They become allergic, experience diarrhea and or terrible headaches and pains. Sweet Root corrects this.

Sweet Root cleans and repairs the organs of digestion, correcting for too much or not enough stomach acid. Then a person starts absorbing minerals and vitamins -- the stomach is a stomach again.

Tumors, cancers and swellings disappear; even cancers of the lung [here, additionally, Yarrow is also taken at the rate of 40 drops, 3 times per day]. The pancreas, gall bladder, liver and small intestine digest the proteins needed for repair and regaining of weight and strength and a sparkle can be seen in the eyes. For serious conditions, take 40 drops, 3 times per day.

Dose | Start with 10 drops per meal and gradually work up to 40 drops per meal, if needed. Sweet Root not only digests our food, it digests chronic accumulated debris out of the body. So, start slowly and use with a good bowel program to remove this chronic debris.

By using a good bowel program, wastes are removed more frequently [two, and preferably, three times per day]. This prevents reabsorption of wastes being cleaned out, and prevents sick feeling. You will note a pleasant difference with the digestion. To build immunity take 40 drops per day.

Una de Gato | Herb no. 6 for cancer disorders

Is a Spanish named herb. Translated, the herb name, Una de Gato, means Claw-of-Cat or, as we would say in English, Cat's Claw. In the remote area of Iquitos, Peru, where Una de Gato is at home, it is very widely used and depended upon to handle a wide variety of problems, including those of a serious nature.

Una de Gato is the bark of the jungle and highland dwelling vines of the two plant species, Unicaria quianensis and Unicaria tometosa. These are the only two species represented throughout South America.

The curled projection, or claw, that the vine puts out to help it climb into the trees, gives Una de Gato its common name, Cat's Claw. Because of the remoteness of the area where it is at home, in North America we did not know of its long and accepted uses until later in the 20th century.

Thanks to the American researcher, Nicole Maxwell, and her over 30 years of dedicated field research and living with and observing the native use of these and other botanicals, we have first-hand information based on observation and experience from the jungle areas of Peru regarding the use of Unicaria quianensis and Unicaria tomentosa. Both are good. The preferred species she recommends as a first choice, however, is the quianensis.

Additionally, German and French sources, and users there, have shared their enthusiastic results, and simply can not be silenced in their wholehearted endorsement of the tomentosa species of Una de Gato.

In more enlightened and tolerant areas of the world, such as Peru, where freedom of speech regarding herbs and folk medicine is an accepted and appreciated fact, sellers of herbs must put the traditional and accepted uses on the side of the herb package.

Unlike North America, where you are not even allowed to claim that an herb is high fiber or low fat or low sodium without a scientist saying you can, and that after a very expensive and lengthy process of proof which may cost as much as 200 million dollars to make such a sweeping claim.

Here is what is listed in Peru as the traditional and accepted South American Native folk medicinal uses of Una de Gato. Take Una de Gato to correct arthritis, rheumatism, cancer, gastritis, irregularities of the female cycle.

From all reports, this is one of the South American Indians' very best arthritis remedies. Although it is not scientifically accepted, people there use it and get rid of their arthritis, including the type we call rheumatoid arthritis, where the body is actually fighting itself.

Una de Gato is also, especially, noted for its anti-viral properties, tumor dissolving properties, its effects on cellular regeneration and cardiovascular repair. As in all jungle areas, one of the things which must be guarded against is infections. Una de Gato is a potent immune system builder.

This is especially important in conditions described as rheumatoid arthritis and or osteoarthritis, where the body is attacking itself, commonly called auto-immune reactions. Una de Gato reestablishes the proper immune system orientation for cells that are true friends and those that are the actual foes.

A strong immune system is essential to reversing the effects, and prevention, of any kind of disease. Hence, a wide range of disorders are reported to be corrected by the use of Una de Gato in Peru and Europe.

Very well documented South American medical information shows Una de Gato to be nearly miraculous in combating cancer, even in advanced stages, where as much as 10% of body cells are in a state of metastasis. Because of the shared reputation Una de Gato has earned for itself, no immune problem or cancer is regarded, in Peru, as incurable.

Dose | 40 drops, 3 times per day to maintain immunity. For disease conditions listed above, 1 tsp. to 1 tbl. 3 times per day.

With the use of Una de Gato, as with any herb which destroys bad cells, do use a good bowel management program which produces 2, and preferably 3, easy and complete bowel movements per day.

In this manner, the wastes and poisons the body is getting rid of, can be eliminated from the body and nausea is prevented. This allows the body to clean itself up and to get well. Common sense and good sense, both, demand that you eliminate anything from the diet and the environment which is a poison.

A good place to start, regarding what you eat, is any food with any kind of chemical additives such as: chemical dyes, preservatives, flavor magnifiers, stabilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and the like. Eliminate junk foods.

Whole Apricot | Herb no. 7 for cancer disorders

Dr. Ernest J. Krebs, a noted authority on cancer, has often stated that if a person eats 6-12 apricots kernels per day, they will never have to worry about cancer. He recommends peach or cherry kernels, as well. Contained within these kernels is a very small amount of a substance called nitriloside amygdalin [laetrile, vitamin B-17]. It goes directly to a cancer cell, stings it, and kills it.

This is especially true of glandular cancers, such as the prostate and other glands. The same is true for moles on the skin and internal tumors. For moles, take Whole Apricot internally and also apply Whole Apricot and Oil of Cajeput, 3 times per day, to the area until corrected. There is no fear necessary for this extremely small amount of cyanide; remember Vitamin B-12 is also a cyanide compound and is absolutely essential to life or a person develops a deadly disease known as pernicious anemia.

Head lettuce, as a further example, contains a very small amount of opium. Although it is not recommended, head lettuce does not cause a person to go unconscious or stupefied, and head lettuce is still eaten. Once you taste apricot kernels, you can recognize an accentuated almond taste. That is the part that kills the cancer cells.

It is also present in almonds, but to a much lesser extent. You may find your body is hungry for this taste and the truly wonderful effect it has. The safe rule is not to eat any more apricot kernels than you would of the apricot fruit during a day.

Dose | 10-20 drops per day, as a daily maintenance. 40 drops to 1 tbl. 3 times per day, if cancer in the body. Keep the bowels open to expel the dead, nauseating cells and poisons with a good bowel program which produces 2, and preferably 3, bowel movements per day.

If necessary to quickly relieve the nausea of this regimen, take, as needed, 10 to 40 drops of a poison antidote such as Black Cohosh or Virginia Snake Root. Additionally, an enema can be taken. Usually, within 10 minutes of taking the enema you will feel better. If necessary, repeat the enema.

B.P.-W | Herb no. 8 for cancer disorders

The combination effect of some herbal combinations is comparable to beautiful music played with all the necessary elements of harmony, rhythm and melody. The herbs blend and support each other and become much more than each separately.

Such a combination is B.P.-W. Here the combined attention is to provide the strength to clean and normalize the blood stream. It cleans out anything touched by the blood, whether it be cancerous cells, tumors, yeasts and other types of fungus, germs, virus organisms, floating trash, irritating acid crystals, urea and heavy metals.

B.P.-W also provides nourishment for the red and white blood cells as well as the bone marrow. B.P.-W can be taken with confidence to provide a generous supply of organic iron and rejuvenating materials.

Note | B.P.-W has a companion formula known as B.C.-W [blood cleaner]. It is a matter of practitioners choice as to which is chosen for cleaning. Both are excellent blood cleaners. B.P.-W leans a little more toward also getting glandular areas to give up their poisons, whereas B.C.-W leans a little more toward also getting the organs to give up their poisons, but both will do a fine job of cleaning. In the process, many diseases just can't stay in the body.

Lapacho | Herb no. 9 for cancer disorders

Experienced herbalists consider that both the Tabebuia altissima [purple flowered] and Tabebuia avellanedae [red flowered] varieties should be mixed together for the best possible effects. South American medical doctors proclaim nothing short of miracles for quick relief of pain for cancers of all types as well as their cure within one month in many cases.

Once again, South American Indians made known a tree which they have used for thousands of years to cure their people. The first was the Cinchona tree bark which yields quinine and cures malaria. Lapacho taken as a boiled tea three times per day [one heaping teaspoonful of the bark to make one cup of the tea] is reported to be their method. The extract is possibly many times stronger if made properly.

The chemistry of Lapacho is quite well known to the scientific world. Dr. Frederick Koch, M.D., used substances from the tree bark called quinones during the 1930's in Detroit, Michigan, with astonishing results to cure even advanced cancer cases before going to South America in order to continue his practice.

He especially used a single quinone, which he described as oxidizing or burning up the encapsulated pockets of stagnant cancer-causing points. He reports in this way he was able to provide oxygen for the breath of life to continue for the patient. Lapacho actually has 16 quinones never before discovered together in nature.

The jungle Lapacho tree is completely immune to fungus infections unlike other trees. It should not be thought that the limit of Lapacho's abilities are confined to cancer, according to Alec de Montmorency, expert on exotic folk remedies. He has collected medical information during the last 20 years on the use of Lapacho in various South American countries.

He reports the following list of problems that medical doctors using Lapacho have solved: Anemia, leukemia, cancer of all types, lupus, inflammation of the reproductive organs, Hodgkin's disease, Parkinson's disease, colitis, arteriosclerosis, gastric problems, leukorrhea, cystits, hemorrhages, prostate inflammation, polyps, psoriasis and eczema.

Dose | South American information indicates 40 to 80 drops of the extract in a cup of water three to four times per day. 20 drops per day as a preventative.

Chickweed | Herb no. 10 for cancer disorders

Chickweed is one of the all-purpose herbs. It has the effect of soothing and healing whatever it comes in contact with. It has been used on shrunken tissues such as the drawing up of the fingers where tendons will not relax. Congestion of the liver is often opened up with Chickweed by internal and external use.

The ranges of chest troubles covered include pleurisy, coughs, colds, bronchitis and hoarseness In addition to this, the list of known relief includes the following: rheumatism, inflamed and weak bowels, stomach inflammation, kidney trouble, scurvy, ease the heat of hemorrhoids and their sharp pains and open the tiny blood vessels around the liver so that it is soft and functioning.

It should also be mentioned that Chickweed is much prized by the American Indians for swelling of all kinds, redness of the face, boils, blood poisoning, cancer-swollen testes, and ulcerated throat and mouth.

Dose | 20 to 60 drops three times per day in tea or under the tongue. Can be applied externally over the kidneys on gauze soaked with the extract.

Chuchuhuasi| Herb no. 11 for cancer disorders

Chuchuhuasi is the South American Indian name for the rain forest tree known botanically as Maytenus macrocarpa. Its home is the steamy jungles of Peru, where it is well known and used by the people, especially in and around Iquitos, Peru on the Amazon river. Because of the remoteness of this area, its use was unknown to the rest of the world until recent times.

Yet, it is now, perhaps, the most popularly used rain forest herb in Peru. Life in a jungle environment means dealing with infections, bites and diseases of many kinds. Remedies must be found and used. Chuchuhuasi serves this multi-purpose function, and it is commonly taken in the liquid extract form.

Among Chuchuhuasi's strongest properties is the building of immunity and, at the same time, enhancing sexual activity and function. The ability of Chuchuhuasi to do this has attracted strong scientific interest.

This is accomplished by using the root bark as a liquid and taking orally three times per day. Rather than just working on the relief of symptoms, Chuchuhuasi apparently works on the actual cause of arthritis and, in this manner, restores joints to working order. This, of course, has aroused considerable excitement in the scientific community.

The same can be said regarding Chuchuhuasi's anti-tumor properties. The USDA [United States Department of Agriculture] has isolated the alkaloid [active bitter compound] maytansine as being most prominent in the compounds believed to be active in the shrinkage of tumors. As if all this would not be enough to recommend the daily use of Chuchuhuasi, it is also applied to the skin to repel jungle mosquitoes.

Now, the mosquitoes of the Peruvian jungle are rumored, by the local inhabitants, for the benefit of tourists, to be, So large you can hear them when they walk, and Senior, they may even possess backbones! At any rate, accounts of their ferocity are legendary and Chuchuhuasi undoubtedly a welcome remedy.

Dose | 40 to 80 drops 3 times per day as maintenance. 1 tsp. 3 times per day for more serious cases. Externally as given above.

Cleavers |Herb no. 12 for cancer disorders

Also known as Bedstraw and Labkraut. Especially good for kidneys, liver, pancreas, and spleen [the spleen is the largest lymphatic organ in the body], epilepsy, shrunken kidneys, paralysis of vocal cords, cancer of the tongue, skin and all types of cancers. Cleavers or Bedstraw is the herb reported to have been used by Mary as bedding in the birth of Jesus and for the crib of Jesus as well.

Dose | Apply externally to the area three to four times per day and/or internally 40 drops to 1 tsp. to 1 tbl. three to four times per day, depending on the severity of the condition you are handling.

Greasewood | Herb no. 13 for cancer disorders

This remedy comes from the American Indian Pharmacopoeia [listing of official Indian medicines]. Greasewood bush has dark, sticky, resinous-filled leaves and stems. It has the distinct taste of telephone poles and creosote, hence its common name Greasewood Bush.

It performs a very valuable service as a douche for the female system [20 drops of extract to a cup of water]. Greasewood is most valuable due to the rising widespread use of commercial antibiotics whose use encourages the growth of the many types of fungi [funguses], in the body.

Jason Winter's Red Clover Tea blend employs Greasewood as an agent to dissolve tumors and cancers on the advice of the American Indian. Indeed of the Indian nations, the Eapoch, Pimas, and Maricopias of the desert southwest have long employed Greasewood to be effective in the following conditions: weight reducing, prostate trouble, skin and stomach cancer, leukemia, cancer, arthritis, warts, chronic backache, bronchitis troubles and to stimulate normal hair growth

Mayapple | Herb no. 14 for cancer disorders

This deep woods and wayside umbrella shaped, Springtime blooming plant, not quite knee high, is a familiar sight in much of North America.

The Mayapple root corrects the following conditions: bilious troubles [liver-gall-bladder caused vomiting], dropsy [fluid retention], congestion of the liver, constipation, torpid [lazy, polluted] liver, lead poisoning, diarrhea, catarrhal [infected mucus congestion] or malarial jaundice [yellow skin], intermittent and remittent fevers, digestive upsets, headache, rheumatism [joint degeneration], syphilis, venereal warts, scrofula [swollen, infected lymphatics which can result in a variety of tuberculous of the lymph nodes or filters], typhoid fever, prolapsed rectum [prolapsus ani], uterine diseases, pin worms, a specific for cancer of the testicle.

Dose | 40 to 80 drops 3 times per day. If cancer of the testicle, then open capsules of 100 i.u. Vitamin E with Selenium and apply to the entire scrotum. Then apply Oil of Cajeput and Herbal Adjustment directly to the skin. Finally, soak a single layer of cheese cloth or absorbent gauze with Mayapple extract and wrap this around the scrotum.

Over this with plastic sandwich wrap and a cloth and wear with snug but not tight fitting under shorts. Leave on overnight. The next morning, remove the application and discard. Wash the area and allow to dry. Then repeat the application for the daytime. This is an around-the-clock, time release corrective action. Persist until the condition is corrected.

Protein | Herb no. 15 for cancer disorders

[High quality pre-digested protein fraction of milk]. Milk has often been introduced as Nature's most perfect food. It probably would be -- if it could be digested. Eighteen percent of the North American population, for instance, has a milk intolerance to cow's milk. That means, for them, milk is a foreign substance which cannot be properly digested.

Hence, allergies, skin problems, colds, flu and worse occur. This is unfortunate when a person cannot eat the food which might help them. Milk was meant to be a fully sustaining diet for the young, in humans, for at least the first six months. Now, if you could find a way to digest milk, it could become one of the most important protein sources in the diet.

A way has been found. Digestive enzymes [proteins that break down food substances] have been added to the finest proteins in milk. The result is a life-sustaining source of very high quality protein with very few calories.

Remember, cancer patients die, finally, unless mishandled through ignorance, from protein starvation. This can be prevented by giving an adequate protein intake of high quality digested protein. For the normal person who wishes to slow down the ravages of aging and its sorrows, protein, vitamins and minerals come to the rescue.

Take enough so that you see the difference. For training athletes, a protein supplement, plus protein in the regular food, gives a double intake of protein for rapid development. Heal injuries and surgical operations quickly with increased protein intake.

To stabilize high or low blood sugar levels, an adequate amount of high quality protein intake, taken frequently and well digested, is vital for normalization of either condition.

For young women developing tissue integrity, protein is a must. It may take several months to re-develop true natural stamina from adding adequate protein to the diet, or longer, if under continuing stress. Think about it.

A person could have gotten worse under stress. To not get worse and actually get ahead of the game is quite something. At any rate, what else would you have been doing? Hence, be patient and rich rewards will be yours, my friend.

Red Clover owes some of its richness to the ability of extracting calcium, silicon and mineral salts from the earth. It promotes an alkaline environment of the blood stream, which is antagonistic to cancer.

It has been long recognized as an anti-cancer herb, which promotes a healthy granulation of the afflictions and their dissolution. It is admirable for correcting lymphatic problems, kidney conditions, malignant ulcers and sores of long standing.

This combination was made famous by desperate amateur Amercian herbalist, Jason Winter.

Necessity being the mother of invention, he cured himself of cancer. In the process, he developed this herbal combination to do the job. Now many others have used this combination and report similar results and claims for its effectiveness in eliminating cancer. The herbal components of the formula perform strongly together as a team to increase each others effect over what they produce if taken separately.

Greasewood by itself has a long history of having been used to dissolve cancers and tumors by the American Indians in the desert southwest. Is the Japanese word for a healing mushroom, much researched in Japan. The wisdom of the use of this mushroom means several species, or more than one of this type comes to us originally, from ancient Chinese medicine. Recent investigation of this particular mushroom indicates it works with the body cells to produce a substance known as interferon.

Interferon is a potent, protective, natural protein. It is produced by body cells that have been invaded by a virus; they, in turn, produce the interferon which prevents healthy cells from being invaded by a virus. The Chinese have long used and praised this mushroom to promote longevity. Even a partial list of its uses would be quite impressive.

It is used in cases we would describe as chronic fatigue; also, for tumors, cancer, hypertension [high blood pressure] and immune disorders, including those which fit the pattern of what we describe today as AIDS. The Reishi mushroom is used as a food item in Japan and China by many people, so there seems to be no problem with its use as an herb if a person can normally eat mushrooms.

Further claims made for its use are to relieve breathing problems, liver problems and act as an antioxidant. As an antioxidant, the Reishi Mushroom is used to protect against free radicals [dangerous, destructive, over-active types of oxygen molecules that react with things they shouldn't and eventually cause the breakdowns we describe as various dis-eases and old age] produced in the body through the regular processes of living, environmental poisons, radiation, excessive fat intake, body fat stores maintenance, and frying fats in food preparation.

Alma Hutchens cites Yellow Dock as a favorite herb of ancient Indians, old time doctors, early settlers and herbal practitioners. Perhaps its prime function is due to its extremely rich organic iron content. Because of this, oxygen for the breadth of life is combined easily with food materials for energy and to oxidize food and reduce them to easily eliminated ash from the depths of the cellular mitochondria [body's furnace].

Yellow Dock is often recommended for prenatal cases so mother and baby can have proper oxygenation fro a normal pregnancy. The rich supply of iron provides baby with enough iron to survive on a diet of breast milk for six months after birth without additional iron, as is expected. The solids of Yellow Dock when analyzed are up to 40% iron.

This type of iron cannot be picked up by a magnet. Iron formulas often employed in the prenatal diet by modern doctors are straight from iron ore and can cause liver poison and black stools. Yello Dock's iron is closely associated with the living plant processes and is easily absorbed. Modern science today will do well to recognize the relative activity rates of different types of iron rather than make false assumptions that iron fillings are as good for you as Yello Dock iron.

Healthy mothers and babies speak much for the difference. Herbalist have traditionally used this mineral-rich plant for sore joints, blood from the lungs, tumors, leprosy, cancer, chronic bronchitis, diseased spleen, swollen lymph glands and as a valuable source of iron for male and female systems. Rub the extract on spongy gums each evening until relief. Loose teeth are thus replaced in proper position.

Use the extract for shingles by combining Yellow Dock with Burdock to make an application. Apply Vitamin E with Selenium to the affected area. Time honored remedy, know as Star-Fallen-In-The-Water by the Ojibwa Indians of North America. Much appreciated for its beauty as well as its reliable healing properties. Resident of calm waters, bearing large, delightful, floating, white flowers with golden centers and producing a captivating perfume described as brandy-like, hence, its alternative name -- Brandy Bottle.

The root is the part used. The taste of the root of White Pond Lily is unique; warming, slightly dry, and mineral in character. Used to correct all complaints of uterus or prostate and dissolving all types of cancers and tumors in the area.

Recognized as an anaphrodisiac [reduces sexual desire for rest and healing], as well as a pain reliever and its soothing qualities. Excellent to quiet infant diarrhea, ulcers in mouth, inflamed gums and sore throat. Take internally, and apply directly to troubled areas, as well.

Sanicle’s great strength includes its uncanny ability to seek out and find anything, which needs correcting and works on that area first that needs it most. In other words, if you’ve got it, Sanicle will find it and fix it, whether the tumor is in the reproductive organs, brain, nervous system, lungs, throat, urinary system or elsewhere.

Sanicle is a bulldozer and builder. There may be temporary discomfort when Sanicle contacts an unwanted obstruction, but it is your reassurance that Sanicle has scored a direct hit. Skin disorders, tumors [also brain tumors], and all manner of morbid material are resolved by Sanicle.

Vinca | Herb no. 21 for [leukemia] cancer disorders

Its brilliant blue flowers can be seen blooming at any time during the growing season, even in very cool climates. Vinca is a leukemia remedy for many body types. In those body types where it is the remedy, a marked difference should be noted within the first two weeks of use. Take at the rate of 40 to 50 drops, 3 times per day.

It is in the leaves that we find Vinca's healing virtues. Long used as a cure for nightmares and high blood pressure. It is thought that when a man and wife take the leaves together, it binds them more closely together. Certainly, if it can relieve nightmares, it may also calm marital stresses. Its name, in Latin, means to bind closely together. Vinca is rubbed on muscular cramps, and is used to stop internal bleeding of the nose and mouth.

Dose | 5 to 10 drops, twice per day, for daily use; increase, if necessary, once you are used to the effects of Periwinkle. For nose and mouth bleed, 20 to 40 drops all at one and repeat, as necessary, every 1 to 2 hours. For muscular cramping, gently massage in enough to cover the area and repeat, as necessary, to relax the spasm. For other uses, as given above.

Red Root | Herb no. 22 for [skin] cancer disorders

A cheerful, low growing, early spring, wild flower with delicate white petals and a golden center. The root sap, which is a brilliant red, was used by the American Indians as a cosmetic. It was employed as lip rouge and for facial marks of distinction.

They also applied it, directly, to cure skin cancer and eczema. More modern use shows Blood Root to clear up yellow skin, as in hepatitis caused by a liver infection or congested gall bladder. Even more recent tests have shown the use of Blood Root extract to be one of the major dental discoveries in history. Reports indicate that 60% of the people who lose their teeth do so not because of gum and bone deterioration.

These problems are caused by germs living on the roots of the teeth, destroying gum tissue and the jaw bone in which the teeth rest, as well as the roots of the teeth. These horrible germ colonies are called plaque.

Now for the good news -- studies indicate, after two weeks of applying Blood Root to the gums after each brushing, plaque is reduced by 50%. In another two weeks, half of the remaining plaque is gone, and so on. A novel use of Blood Root, for this purpose, can be achieved by adding 40 drops of Blood Root extract to the water-pick container before cleaning the teeth with the water pick.

Be sure to run a full container of plain water through the water-pick after use to prevent clogging. For very troubled areas, put several drops of Blood Root and Formula Ol' Number 11 [bone-flesh-nerve and cartilage restorer] on a piece of cotton, place it between the gum and cheek.

Let it rest there all night and, if necessary, repeat this procedure for daytime use. In larger amounts [30 to 40 drops, three times per day] Blood Root can lower dangerously high blood pressure. No affect is noted on blood pressure if it is not high.

Blood Root is an arterial sedative if it finds the arteries of the body in a cramped condition. To use Blood Root as a mouthwash, remove 1 oz. of mouthwash from a pint bottle, add 1 oz. of Blood Root to the remainder and then use as regular mouthwash.

Dose | 40 drops 3 times per day, internally. Externally, as needed to cover the skin area, 3 to 4 times per day. For the gums, apply as needed, to cover the area each time the teeth are brushed [2-3 times per day].

Broad Beans | Herb no. 23 for cancer disorders

Are known to contain the following: Vitamin A [eyes and skin], B-1 [for the personality], B-2, B-12 [for energy], Choline and Inositol [to dissolve cholesterol], B-3, Niacin [for tongue and skin health], B-5, Pantothenic Acid [for anti-stress], B-15, Pangamic Acid [as a supplier of oxygen], B-17, Laetrile [anti-cancer properties], as well as Vitamins C and E.

The leaves are the parts used, not the berries. As such, they are beneficial to your health, contrary to what you may have been taught. This is like the old problem with the potato, the part you eat comes from under the ground and is a good food. If you cook and eat the part that grows above the ground it can kill you.

You don't fear eating potatoes, and you need have no fear of adding mistletoe leaves to your diet. Mistletoe is for nerves that are worn to a frazzle. If you feel like crying when someone points their finger at you, it's Mistletoe time. Due to our ancestral memory, many of us do still associate this plant with joy and well being at Christmas time.

To lower chronic high blood pressure due to nervous tension and to correct balance problems and epilepsy, nervous system instability, anxiety, paralysis, weak pulse, poor outflow of blood with each heart contraction [tired from walking across the room], enlarged heart and water retention, put 40 to 80 drops of Golden Bough along with an equal amount of Herbal Adjustment in a cup and drink it as needed.

Mistletoe, among its other virtues, is a beautiful storehouse for the mineral element zinc, which prevents the formation of certain cancers. In May on Twitter, I commented on i-n-t-e-g-r-a-t-e-d healing & deliverance. Here's what it is. Typically, when churches have deliverance service, it's either impromptu [during alter call] or it's a planned deliverance service. Both are fine because it's at the direction of the Holy Spirit.

What's been learned by those who are veterans in healing and deliverance is many times parishioners don't stay healed and delivered for a long time or permanently. You know as well as I that those services are exhausting and a lot of work.

Neither the pastor nor the parishioner wishes to continue redo-ing and redo-ing healing and deliverance on the same person for the same issue.

It's even a bit disheartening to see when the person returns back to whatever they were healed & delivered from -- even if they elect not to return for another healing and deliverance service.

Naturally, the healing and deliverance veterans within the body of Christ globally asked, "Well why isn't the healing and deliverance lasting?"

Many books, articles and even ministries have been started around the world in response to this one question.

Allow me to transition to me for a moment, please.

There's nothing like my own story.

My life bottomed out a few years back.

That's the simplest way to put it.

I went to talk to my [former] pastor, a great man of God and gifted leader to this day.

He understood, prayed with me and I left.

I told him I knew something was wrong in the spiritual realm.

One thing I like about him, still, is he'll admit when he doesn't know something.

Well remember -- my life was a wreck and I needed answers, which no one could offer.

I have a [former] church member in OH who said, "Child, when you need help, you gon' find somebody to help you, somewhere, you don't care how long it takes you, you will not stay broken."

And she's right.

If the Holy Spirit is our all-in-all, then it didn't make sense that I had to operate in such a broken state daily.

Long story short, I took about six weeks to fill out an application for integrated healing and deliverance ministry. I also completed prerequisites so I’d be prepared to go through the ministry.

Integrated means two healing and deliverance ministers, also known as my ministry team, spent one week exclusively with me. There were also intercessors and prophetic intercessors praying for me, which I didn’t know until the last day. I never met them. They were interceding for me weeks before I arrived and definitely the week I was there.

They prayed and studied over my application before I arrived in conjunction with the Holy Spirit.

There were prophetic intercessors and intercessors [that I never met] prayed specifically regarding me for insight from the Holy Spirit.

Their focus was, Holy Spirit help us, identify, show us the roots of where her issues began in her life that are still affecting her to this day.

1st - That being said, they went back four generations in my family, on both sides [this is why it took 6 weeks for me to fill out that application]. They examined, studied and co-labored with the Holy Spirit regarding my family lineage to identify active generational curses that were affecting my life; we broke all those generational curses.

It's so nice to use past tense now -- that were affecting my life. HA-LE-LU-JAH! The reality is, any person who is breathing who hasn't broken generational curses, is living actively with generational curses. It takes a good 40 minutes of simple teaching to show this reality to any Christian breathing.

Exodus 20: 1 - 17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21

2nd - They [my ministry team] identified all the ungodly things [better known as lies] I believed about myself, other people [family, friends, white people, enemies, church members] and even God [based on my earthly experience with dad]. Just about every person [even if it's subconscious] draws some conclusions about God based on their relationship with their earthly father no matter how good, great, bad, absent or devastating he was.

Women, in particular, [even if subconscious] draw conclusions about God based on relationship with men, brothers, husbands, dad, step dad, pastor, etc. [doesn't take long for me to find this by studying a person's life with the Holy Spirit]. Again, co-laboring with the Holy Spirit, we changed those many beliefs into godly beliefs.

That is, what the Lord say is true about me, my family, my friends, white people, my enemies, men, what God says about Himself and my church members. This is a lot of work; the sentences here don't do this justice, but I have to keep it moving here.

3rd - Oh Lord, this is the part I don't like here. You and I both know what it's so darn hard for people to forgive. You, me, the Bible and integrated healing & deliverance ministry teams around the world, agree that forgiveness is the key to freedom. Then why so many people keep having a forgiveness problem. It's preached about every single day -- 24 hours a day, on radio, tv, internet, streaming sites, tons of Bibles, tracks, CDs, christian music.

Why? why? why? why?

Even if a person cannot articulate it, it's the pain/hurt associated with the person or situation that they can't get beyond -- that the wall blocker. This lady said to me about 10 weeks back, Christians just outta live right, they know better -- then she quoted me some scriptures. I responded to her [as I was walking my four daily miles in the mall] that nothing matters day-to-day to any person in any kind of pain except how to get through the day dealing with their pain.

Yep, folks are married and yes their families should be first, but dealing with the pain takes precedence. We both know there are tons of ways people deal with pain. This brings up to the next part of integrated healing and deliverance ministry. The ministry team co-labors with the Holy Spirit [in private] to deal with the roots of the person's pains.

Ugh - I hated this part! Much needed, but I really didn't want to do this. Thereafter, forgiveness flooded like the waters of the Niagara Falls! to this very day.

4th - The ministry team taught me in scripture my authority in dealing with the demonic activity in life. Now why I'd never learned this in church for three decades still fathoms me to this day, hell, almost makes me mad. Many churches and pastors generalize and talk about freaking freedom all the time and never gave me the tools to know how to engage daily with the warfare in my life. Can you believe this? Can you believe this?

Do you know how many seminars, conferences, conventions, counselors, years of Bible studies, institutes, books, tv programs, pamphlets, ministries ... I've gone through in three decades.

This is almost similar to the trillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry. Just give people drugs for a life time to treat the symptoms, but never the root cause -- all the while the meds are killing them daily and causing even more problems.

The church -- just tells people they need to be free, have deliverance services ever so often to deal with the surface issue temporarily [but never dismantle the spiritual roots so the symptoms will be forced to die]. Well, the ministry team taught me what demonic oppression was and we commanded the demons out.

Lastly, they showed me how to take the offense instead of always living my life in a posture of defense and reactionary mode.

The integrated approach to healing and deliverance taught me how to stop operating day-to-day in the natural with people and address the spiritual [demonic] behind people's action.

As you and I know every thing is spiritual. Let me underscore that again, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is spiritual. The more Christians operate day-to-day in the natural, the more they are frustrated, tired and defeated.

Yep, I know we tell people to pray, and that's very much needed. But as we know, demons do not respond to prayer, demons only respond to authority. Authority which most Christians have no idea how to use daily. And no pastor and no counseling ministry in a church has the time to deal with this level of activity in every member's life.

That changed my life!

One week being taught was fundamental biblical tools every Christian should have and use every day -- changed my life and a 180 turn was made. I went back there [two years] to the int'l school to learn integrated healing and deliverance and I graduated with a certification in integrated, biblical healing and deliverance.

I'm sharing this because I get tired of folk living in bondage.

So many leaders in the church just aren't aware, but with the use of technology and continuing to co-labor with the Holy Spirit -- the body of Christ, at-large, and by denomination will have knowledge of integrated healing and deliverance.

And you know what the benefits of integrated healing and deliverance are to a pastor.

a) Fewer visits from your parishioners for the same issue, which means more time for you and your family

b) The believer is empowered to deal with their own issues

c) Your church operates in more freedom because the members have lasting healing

d) People see the fruit of the healing and start asking the others, how'd you get like that, so multiplication begins

e) There's no way for the church not to end up having a healing and deliverance ministry team that serves the body [or even the community] which changes families and heals up the bride of Christ so she [the church] is without a spot or wrinkle

So many people are so deceived daily as you well know.
They think they are just having bad luck.
They think this is just the way it is.
They think folk just got personality problems.
They even think their common illnesses are just inherited through the family [rather than an extension of a generational curse that controlled by demons].

There are healing and deliverance teams literally all over the world.
Either people can come to us or we go to them any where in the United States or other countries.
We are equipped to come to churches to train leaders in a group setting [healing and deliverance seminars].

I decided to post this blog below because my life and my family's life has been adversely, negatively affected by being a part of the Masonic and Eastern Stars. Yes, I know the organizations are presented as community organizations, especially to Christians.

My life has done a 180 degree turn since I made the decision to renounce my family's historical and generational involvement in these organizations that are part of the occult. I made the decision to break the biblical, generational curses that are automatically active in your life once you join these organizations. Those in my family who have chosen not to do so still suffer to this very day.

They shrug their repeated life mishappenings as a bad day, bad luck, or whatever they choose to pawn it off on. The Holy Spirit can speak to you better than any person. I challenge you to ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you about your involvement or your family's involvements in any society or organization that has initiations or secrets. My dearly beloved believers in the body of Christ, the Bible is very clear about this subject.

While pastoring a church in Arkansas, I was asked to take a church that was on a spiritual and numeric decline.

I accepted the call, and in November 1990, 1 became pastor of the First Baptist Church of Columbia, Louisiana.

For the first few months, the chairman of the Pulpit Committee regularly visited my office telling me what I could or could not do.

He was especially opposed to door-to-door evangelism.

Soon I learned that a group of other men shared his views.

They criticized most of the former pastors and even explained in detail how they had "railroaded" a full-time youth pastor out of the church.

His removal was so slick, they said, that no one in the congregation knew what was happening.

Their message was clear, "Do what we want, or we will do the same to you."

They kept me so busy carrying out their plans, projects, and agendas that I had little time to
listen to God.

When I would move in the direction I felt God wanted, one of them would show up with all kinds of plans and projects. I was continually derailed from God's leading.

There was small numeric growth with these activities, but the church was spiritually dead.

Worship was oppressive, as if a dark cloud hovered over the services.

Throughout this time the chairman of the Pulpit Committee repeatedly gave me a funny handshake. I had no clue
what he was doing.

Finally, God began to speak to me that I needed to listen to His direction, not the direction of these men.

His Words were so clear, "Concentrate on worship, revival, evangelism, and making disciples."

When I first began to emphasize worship, I sensed resistance from the Minister of Music, who proudly wore his Masonic ring and tie tack.

Several months later, however, he went through a spiritual crisis and prayed to receive Christ.

Two weeks later he gave his testimony in church.

After his testimony, I stood to invite others to come forward and receive Christ.

I was shocked at what I saw.

Although there was rejoicing on a few faces, most were hostile - so hostile that it sent chills up and down my spine.

As I looked at their faces, I identified them as Masons and their Eastern Star wives.

"This is demonic," I thought. When I started two discipleship groups, there was tremendous resistance within the deacon body.

One deacon, who was also a Mason, tried to wreck every session.

When I emphasized a personal relationship with Jesus, he became combative and hostile.

He argued so much during Wednesday night Bible study that I had to switch to straight preaching.

Hungry for fellowship, I had been praying for months for a soul-winning partner.

God answered that prayer when the Music Minister expressed a desire to go out witnessing.

We went from house to house sharing Jesus, and quietly, without fanfare, his Masonic ring and
tie tack disappeared.

He told me that God had convicted him about being a Mason, and that he had formally renounced Freemasonry through a letter of resignation sent to the lodge.

Gradually, a group in the church began to catch a vision for having a personal walk with Jesus, learning discipleship, and evangelism.

The church services began to change.

I could feel God's presence in every service.

The Masons, however, were not rejoicing.

The one who had so frequently given me the Masonic handshake, called my home and threatened me that
if I didn't get the Minister of Music "calmed down," the deacons would "take care of him."

As one group in the church grew closer to Jesus, another group became increasingly resistant
toward what God was doing, and hostile toward me as pastor.

Seven couples began forming a wall of resistance.

Of the seven couples, two individuals were not Masons, nor members of the Eastern Star. One was a Seventh Day Adventist, and the other's father was a 32nd Degree Mason.

During this same period, a sister church was experiencing a touch of God, with the same resistance from Masons.

Not willing to participate in the battle, several couples left that church and came to ours.

They openly acknowledged that they had been upset because the Masons had squelched the moving of God in that church.

The Masonic group in our church immediately began a verbal attack against the newcomers.

One Mason summoned me to his house and warned me that the newcomers could cause trouble in our church because of their attacks on Masonry.

He revealed that he was a Mason and that there was not going to be a discussion of Freemasonry at First Baptist.

He warned that a previous pastor had tried to deal with the Masonic issue in the church and had created
problems as a result.

I located the former pastor and learned that he had maintained a bookstore which contained several books exposing Freemasonry.

One night someone broke into the store and stole all the books on Masonry.

"If Freemasonry is just a harmless men's fraternity, why get upset about a few books?

Why all the scrambling to hide books and refuse to even discuss Masonry?

If Masonry is of God, let's bring everything out in the open and see what wonderful things God has done in Masonry.

But if it is not of God, then there are many reasons to operate in darkness and secrecy."

These were my thoughts.

It was at this time we began experiencing demonic manifestations during the services.

Usually the demons would surface when I preached on our victory over Satan through the blood of Christ.

Any aspect of victory in the Christian life or salvation messages would stir up the demons.

During a series of messages on revival, and the filling of the Holy Spirit, there was considerable agitation.

All of those with demonic manifestations were either Masons or Eastern Star wives.

Hostility toward me began to increase, all directed by the Masons.

Deacons' meetings became nothing more than open season on the pastor.

Again, led by the Masons.

Finally, the man who had given me numerous Masonic handshakes came to my office, tearing into me about the spiritual atmosphere that was developing within the church.

As he was verbally attacking me, suddenly a force, as it were, came out from him and hit me.

Evil surrounded me. I sensed oppression.

Within two days the oppression became deep depression.

All that week I read books on spiritual warfare to educate myself on what was happening.

By Sunday a black cloud of spiritual oppression had settled over the entire church.

I told no one of my encounter with the Mason, yet several people verbally expressed that things were different in the church.

This oppression continued for eight months, while life for me and my family was a living hell.

It was as though sharks could smell blood and were coming in for the kill.

Vicious attacks by the Masons were leveled against me and my family, and against all who
supported me.

I became so physically ill that I had to enter the hospital for two weeks.

The church decided to give me a three-month sabbatical, which at first seemed compassionate.

It soon was evident that this generous action was a disguise to buy time, so that the Masons could remove me from the church.

When I returned from my sabbatical, the deacons informed me that I was no longer pastor - that the church would have to vote me back in.

This was one of those instances in which a few deacons decided their own agenda privately.

No one else knew what was going on.

This is the way satan works - always in the dark, in secret, behind closed doors.

satan lost temporarily.

The vote was never taken and I was permitted to resume preaching.

Two months later, at a monthly business meeting, the Masonic group succeeded in voting me out.

The members voting against me included many who had rarely come to church, and some I had never seen before! I was not permitted to speak, and the meeting was so hostile that I thought I was going to be mobbed.

Those who were yelling, screaming, and jumping out of their seats were one and all Masons and their Eastern Star wives.

Shortly after leaving First Baptist I had a counseling session with Dr. Mark Bubek, who is well known both nationally and internationally for his experience in spiritual warfare.

After hearing about the man who regularly harassed me in my office, his first question was, "Is he a Mason?"

He confirmed that I had been under heavy demonic attack.

I never preached against Masonry, so the attack was not a counterattack.

It was simply that the spirit behind Freemasonry opposes anything God-sent, Christ-exalted, Spirit empowered
that brings revival to the church.

Yes, the Masons reacted negatively to my messages on grace.

They were infuriated when I suggested man could not earn his way to heaven.

They were not opposed to inviting people to church.

They were opposed to the evangelism that was taking place in church, once the visitors arrived.

And they were greatly offended by the fact that people in the church were going door-to-door in the community, asking people if they knew that they had eternal life.

The Masonic message is one that abhors a Christian life that has Jesus Christ at the center.

The Masons in Columbia regard First Baptist as an extension of their lodge.

Well, they have preserved that extension, for today First Baptist has disintegrated into a handful of men and
women, primarily the Masonic and Eastern Star group.

The price of their success was the destruction of a house of God, and the persecution of its pastor and many God-fearing people.

Such is the spirit and purpose of Freemasonry.

What are pastors to do? First, take a stand on Freemasonry. Second, write your position in a letter and mail it to your
national headquarters.

The Danger of Celebrating Halloween

Halloween—October 31—is considered a holiday in the United States. In fact, it rivals Christmas with regard to how widely celebrated it is. Stores that sell only Halloween-related paraphernalia open up a few months before the day and close shortly after it ends. But is Halloween a holiday that Christians should be observing?

The word holiday means holy day. But there is nothing holy about Halloween. The root word of Halloween is hallow, which means holy, consecrated and set apart for service. If this holiday is hallowed, whose service is it set apart for? The answer to that question is very easy—Lucifer's!

Lucifer is a part of the demonic godhead. Remember, everything God has, the devil has a counterfeit. Halloween is a counterfeit holy day that is dedicated to celebrating the demonic trinity of: the Luciferian Spirit [the false father]; the Antichrist Spirit [the false holy spirit]; and the Spirit of Belial [the false son].

The key word in discussing Halloween is dedicated. It is dedicated to darkness and is an accursed season. During Halloween, time-released curses are always loosed. A time-released curse is a period that has been set aside to release demonic activity and to ensnare souls in great measure.

You may ask, Doesn't God have more power than the devil? Yes, but He has given that power to us. If we do not walk in it, we will become the devil's prey. Witchcraft works through dirty hearts and wrong spirits.

During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

I do not buy candy during the Halloween season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.

Even the colors of Halloween [orange, brown and dark red] are dedicated. These colors are connected to the fall equinox, which is around the 20th or 21st of September each year and is sometimes called Mabon. During this season witches are celebrating the changing of the seasons from summer to fall. They give praise to the gods for the demonic harvest. They pray to the gods of the elements [air, fire, water and earth].

Mother earth is highly celebrated during the fall demonic harvest. Witches praise mother earth by bringing her fruits, nuts and herbs. Demons are loosed during these acts of worship. When nice church folk lay out their pumpkins on the church lawn, fill their baskets with nuts and herbs, and fire up their bonfires, the demons get busy. They have no respect for the church grounds. They respect only the sacrifice and do not care if it comes from believers or non-believers.

Gathering around bonfires is a common practice in pagan worship. As I remember, the bonfires that I attended during homecoming week when I was in high school were always in the fall. I am amazed at how we ignorantly participate in pagan, occult rituals.

The gods of harvest that the witches worship during their fall festivals are the Corn King and the Harvest Lord. The devil is too stupid to understand that Jesus is the Lord of the Harvest 365 days a year. But we cannot be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. When we pray, we bind the powers of the strong men that people involved in the occult worship.

Halloween is much more than a holiday filled with fun and tricks or treats. It is a time for the gathering of evil that masquerades behind the fictitious characters of Dracula, werewolves, mummies and witches on brooms. The truth is that these demons that have been presented as scary cartoons actually exist. I have prayed for witches who are addicted to drinking blood and howling at the moon.

While the lukewarm and ignorant think of these customs as just harmless fun, the vortexes of hell are releasing new assignments against souls. Witches take pride in laughing at the ignorance of natural men [those who ignore the spirit realm].

Decorating buildings with Halloween scenes, dressing up for parties, going door-to-door for candy, standing around bonfires and highlighting pumpkin patches are all acts rooted in entertaining familiar spirits. All these activities are demonic and have occult roots.

The word occult means secret. The danger of Halloween is not in the scary things we see but in the secret, wicked, cruel activities that go on behind the scenes. These activities include:

* Sex with demons
* Orgies between animals and humans
* Animal and human sacrifices
* Sacrificing babies to shed innocent blood
* Rape and molestation of adults, children and babies
* Revel nights
* Conjuring of demons and casting of spells
* Release of time-released curses against the innocent and the ignorant.

Another abomination that goes on behind the scenes of Halloween is necromancy, or communication with the dead. Séances and contacting spirit guides are very popular on Halloween, so there is a lot of darkness lurking in the air.

However, Ephesians 1:19-21 speaks of the authority of the believer and the exceeding greatness of God's power in us [the same power that raised Christ from the dead]. It goes on to say that that Jesus is seated in heavenly places far above all principalities, power, might, dominions and every name that is named. The good news is that because we are seated in heavenly places with Jesus, the same demonic activity that is under His feet is under our feet, too!

People who worship the devil continue to attempt to lift him up. But he has already been cast out and down! Many are blinded to this fact, but the day will come when all will know he has been defeated once and for all.

When we accept Jesus but refuse to renounce Satan and his practices, we are neither hot nor cold but lukewarm—and the Word says that God will spit us out of His mouth. The problem with lukewarm is that it attempts to mix the things of the devil with the things of God. It is God's desire that we serve Him alone.

Second Corinthians 6:15 asks the question, And what agreement has Christ with Belial? As believers, we need to answer that question in our hearts. We must avoid the very appearance of evil. I would not want a demon spirit to mistake me for an occult worshiper.

There is no doubt in my heart that God is not calling us to replace fall festivals and Halloween activities; rather, He wants us to utterly destroy the deeds of this season. If you or your family members have opened the door to any curses that are released during the demonic fall festivals, renounce them and repent. I already have. Then declare with me: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

HIP HOP MUSIC -- There’s something that’s now rocking America; it’s worst than a bomb. It’s now created a bunch of young [Christian and non-Christian] people who totally defy order. The churches have now embraced it, hip hop, and the whole world is being rocked by the impact of it. The enemy started planning this demonic hip-hop strategy in the Zulu nation in Africa and even all the way back to Pharaoh. The enemy began to prepare something to catch and captivate the minds of young people to pull them straight into his own belly. This is the hip-hop culture. This means church youth [and adults] will and are beginning to worship the devil through hip hop music. It’s plain and simple. Our youth [and adults] need deliverance from this because the music and videos have created an open door into their young lives.

Why do Christian parents allow their children to buy clothes that promote godless, perverted artists – like Sean Jean, Rocawear. Biggie Smalls, when he was living, had a group called The Junior Mafia – it was broken into three groups. Each group was called a 6. The entire junior mafia was called 666. Right before Biggie Smalls died, he was preparing to start a clothing line to be named 666. And had this come to fruition, would Christian parents have allowed their children to purchase these clothes and wear even wear them in the house of God. Of course, 666 is the mark of the beast. So what’s a simple strategy the devil uses to promote the anti-Christ agenda, he raises up superstars – like Biggie Smalls, like Beyonce, like Jay-Z.

Russell Simmons [former husband of Kimora Lee Simmons] is the owner of Phat Farm clothing line. His house looks like a gym and in his basement he has a statute of Kali. Kali is the Indian yoga goddess of death and destruction. He prays to this statue every morning. Kali had followers that would worship her stature back in the 19th century. They sacrificed money, jewels and possessions to this goddess. When people came into the temple to worship Kali, men came into the temple to beat up whoever was worshipping Kali. They were robbers and thieves. These men would put the jewels in their mouths and hide all of the possessions they stole. These men were named thugs. Russell Simmons is pegged as a godfather of hip-hop and he worships the goddess that rules over these thugs. The word thug is synonymous to the hip-hop culture. Many people in hip-hop refer to themselves as thugs. There is a new show getting ready ready to air [at the end of 2009] about Tupac titled Thug Angel.

These artists in the hip-hop culture begin to take on thug characteristics and conjure up and channel these very demonic spirits of the thugs back from the 19th century. [There are pictures available to compare facial expressions of body mannerisms so you can see how identical.] 50 Cent, Slim Thug, Mike Jones, Young Buck, Lil John – these guys are glorifying being thugs. This is demonic worship or familiar spirits as scripture calls it. Notice the facial expressions of these hip-hoppers [view videos on YouTube by Minister G. Craige Lewis]. In the form of entertainment, satan is using these hip-hoppers to promote the anti-Christ agenda. Yes, they even put their extravagant jewelry in their mouths, just like the thugs from the 19th century that stole from those who worshipped the idol god Kali in the temple.

Jay-Z calls himself jehovah god. He believes he is god. He does not believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He believes the Black man is god. His clothing line is Rocawear. And why are Christians buying these clothes and even sporting them to church? He has an album called The Black Album and there’s a song on there that you have to play in reverse. These are the lyrics when the song is played in reverse – 666, murder, murder Jesus, 666. [The video of this song being played backwards is posted on this site for you to hear.] Yes, these are the subliminal messages Jay-Z is sending to those listening to this song. And why are Christians supporting him again? Have you noticed that hip-hop clothing is in every department store now. Wake up saints! We wonder what's wrong with our youth and young adults. We wonder why the atmosphere in our homes are not peaceful. Well -- this hip-hop music and the videos create many open doors for you, your children and young adults to invite the demonic right on in to your home, car and life.

Remember the old song, Another One Bites The Dust. When that song was played backwards or in reverse, it said, I like to smoke marijuana. When kids were interviewed, the kids said, they just wanted to get high, they wanted to smoke weed. The kids and adults didn’t have any idea why these thoughts and urges were coming upon them. Christians, saints, believers -- there are only two forces in the world -- God who was Jesus in the flesh and satan. God who is available to us now through The Holy Spirit is omnipotent. As we know, satan can only be in one place at a time. So, what does satan do? He uses demons to do his work. He has assigned demons everywhere. To you, your family, your community, your church, your denomination, your city, your country, your institutions, your governments, your companies, your vocations, and, of course, the media, education and entertainment industries.

A few months ago we were approached by Charisma magazine to do an interview. We have been asked by several national talk shows and publications to give interviews. We always pray and proceed with caution. EX Ministries is not in the business of seeking to promote our cause or message through nationally distributed magazines, however when we were approached by Charisma, we agreed to do the article. We agreed partly because, Charisma has a reputation of being edgy and also they informed me that they were doing an article anyway, whether I agreed to the interview or not.

So I gave them the whole story and answered their questions only after they promised that they would print exactly what I said. Further more, I found that just a year or so prior to this, they had released an issue with a very lengthy cover story on holy hip hop and its use in the black church. I hoped that they would give us the same consideration and print the information we gave them so that it would answer questions and warn others about the dangers of hip-hop.

In the February 2007 issue, they printed the article about us, and much to my surprise, they were very reserved with editing my answers and hardly printed any thing that we addressed in our interview. Although we do not feel the article was directly negative towards our stand, we do feel that the meat of the matter was never really dealt with. I would think that this information would be important enough to discuss with as much intensity as the article they did on holy hip hop, but once again, the booty shaking, grilled mouthed, inmate mimicking, embarrassment to our race, hip hoppers, were lifted up and the truth behind hip hop was snubbed.

Since Charisma didn’t print our interview in its original format, we decided to give you the full list of questions and answers uncut and unedited, as I corresponded with their journalist. This is the information that the 700 Club, Gospel Today, Charisma, and many others will not print for whatever reason.

JB of Charisma Magazine -What is the goal of your DVD series The Truth Behind Hip Hop?

G. Craige Lewis - Actually, we have no goals for the DVD because we never pursued or planned to record a DVD. One of the most dangerous things that I believe has infected the body of Christ is self-promotion. Yet, this is what most pastors or traveling evangelist are told they must do to get the word out. If the word they were trying to get out was their own then promoting it would be fine. However, if its God’s Word then I believe that God is responsible to promote it. The Truth Behind Hip-Hop is definitely an example of that. The series came about as a result of my traveling and preaching The Truth Behind Hip Hop for two years prior to the DVD. The 1st DVD was recorded in 2002 at the request of a ministry in my area. Initially, I turned them down, because I didn’t want to change the way God was getting the message out. However, after I prayed, the ministry approached me again and the Lord told me to let them record it. The recording didn’t cost me a dime of my own money and besides that, we never mass-marketed it, signed a distribution deal, or tried to promote it ourselves. Yet, through word of mouth and just making them available on our site quite a few people have ordered the DVD’s. What are my goals and desires for the DVD’s? I never planned for DVD’s in the first place. Simply put, I want what God wants and that is for every believer to deny himself and follow Christ!

JB of Charisma Magazine -Your message on secular hip-hop is clear, however, I didn't see where you offered an alternative or solution to what our young people should be listening to. Could you please explain further on this?

G. Craige Lewis - This is dealt with in our 3rd DVD, Antichrist Superstar. We believe that God is not an alternative! He should never be put in the position to replace something that should have never been there in the first place. Consider this, a young person is saved and delivered from an addiction to drugs and the church gives them holy drugs as an alternative? This is absurd. Yet this what so-called holy-hip-hoppers are doing. That young person doesn’t need an alternative drug; the drugs should have never been in their lives in the first place. We teach young people that Jesus Christ is the WAY! Seek him and find him and you will know then what is good and acceptable according to the unction that is within you, called the anointing! We are here to push people into the face of God not by offering replacements, but rather using the written word of God and exposing the darkness and deception that exists in their lives whether through music, or any other form of idol worship. God is first. Once you seek him, you will know in your heart what is good for your mind and soul. Some people think that I am anti-music. As a musician and former producer, I have recorded plenty of music; I have friends who record good Christian music; and according to some trends in ministry, I should be taking the bad stuff and then selling them my stuff—but God has not told me to do that. I preach the message that God has told me to preach and let the Holy Spirit, PASTORS, YOUTH PASTORS, and parents do the rest.

JB of Charisma Magazine -What are your feelings toward the holy hip-hop movement?

G. Craige Lewis - Holy hip hop is ridiculous. It makes no sense. It's just another tool of the enemy to make our young black males act, dress, and behave in a manner that is only beneficial to a rap star and those that profit from it. Although, these antics may be entertaining to some, to the average black man, these behaviors are roadblocks that halt their forward progress in the true culture we live in called the American culture! Dressing like gang members, wearing your hair like women, sagging your pants like inmates, and speaking broken English is, by the American standard, unacceptable behavior and will continue to be a hindrance in the future of our generation. Why would a church embrace that? Why would a church promote that? Out of desperation, many churches are resorting to holy thugs and gospel gangsta's to entertain their youth while the adults are worshipping. You see, you can't minister to teens about self-love, self-promotion, self-empowerment, and all the fluff messages that our new mega-church era is overrun with. Kids won't sit through, what I call the top-pop sermons of the neo-penecostal movement: Miracle, season, harvest, breakthrough, favor, destiny, and purpose. Only adults will chase that stuff. Kids want it real. Therefore, to keep them entertained without a true heart for their souls, you must do what is popular to them. You must mimic the world, follow the world's lead, and subscribe to the current trends and fads if you don't have a true call to minister. Therefore, the holy hip hoppers have found a way to masquerade as the answer while they sell their music and promote themselves. They sound just like the secular stuff. They look just like the secular stuff. They even listen to the secular stuff to get their sound and flavor. So, all they really do is build the desire for the kids to go out and get the real stuff but just do the imitation while at church, cause that's what is available!

JB of Charisma Magazine -Jesus translated the gospel into terms that people could understand [i.e. parables and storytelling]. Do you feel this can be OK for our culture as well? Can hip-hop be used in this way? Why or why not? I think of it as the same as different publishing companies providing different translations of the Bible. I also think of Paul's verse that said he is all things to all men [1 Corinthians 9:22], except a backslider and unrepentant sinner, of course!

G. Craige Lewis - First of all Jesus didn’t translate the Gospel He was the Gospel, the Gospel is the record of His life, death and resurrection. Secondly, He didn’t speak in parables so that people could understand. Ironically, it was just the opposite: He spoken in parables so that the truth would be hidden to those who thought themselves wise and prudent.

Matt. 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Matt. 13:10 And the disciples came and said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?

Matt. 13:11 Jesus answered them, To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.

Matt. 13:12 For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.

Matt. 13:13 Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

If anyone has seen any of our DVD’s or have ever heard me speak, they will know that we teach and preach that hip-hop is not just a genre of music. Hip-hop is a lifestyle. It is a manner of life. When a person comes to Christ He changes his lifestyle. Furthermore, hip hop's origin causes it to be useless when it comes to ministry. The word hip hop, according to the founders of the culture and the pioneers of the music art form, was first used in the clubs by the Sugar Hill Gang. Remember that song that said, hip hop, hippy to the hop, don't stop rocking ...? Well, that song was using the two words hip hop to describe women's booty's shaking to their beats in the club. Basically, in it's simplest form, hip hop means booty shaking! Your hips hop to the beats. Just look at the last twenty-years of hip-hop videos: the clothes changed, the music changed, even the lyrics changed but one thing that always remained the same is the gratuitous camera shot of girls hips hopping. We can quote “I became all things to all men …” all we want to; but I don’t think Paul ever meant that he would make the people’s booty shake to win them to Christ. Moreover, how in the world can you have holy booty shaking? Sure, the youth will come to shake their butts and throw up their hood signs, but will they be changed? We have seen millions of youth saved, set free, and delivered, and we have never used any kind of music to draw them.

JB of Charisma Magazine - Since I have begun to research this article I have come across some interesting observations. If it is OK, I would like to explore these with you. It is said that hip-hop culture can be looked at the same as American culture. Both have their up sides and their down sides. If you showed someone from another country all the American strip clubs, bars, jails, and ghettos, perhaps they would see America in a terrible way. But if we showed that America also had churches, good will and charity organizations, sports, great universities [that is up for argument, but anyway] :-)), one would see American in a more realistic light. It has been said that the hip-hop culture is also the same way. The bad is very bad, but there are very positive things that come out of the culture -- creativity, holy hip-hop, political voice, a point of connection to express and release the pain of this generation. How do you feel about such comments/observations?

G. Craige Lewis - Hip-hop is a sub-cultural movement, and cannot be compared to an ethnographic or demographic culture. A subculture is defined as a group with distinctive characteristics within a larger culture. This is why we say that hip-hop is at best, a subculture. Furthermore, its not a movement based on it's own concepts but it is a subculture that uses basic deconstruction of words and concepts to cause those that are apart of it to strive to be more visible in our present society. Initially, hip- was created out of lack and fatherless-ness. Young boys whose father's were absent began to adhere to the streets rather than abiding by the rules that govern success in society. The streets life became their expression and selling drugs, murdering, and fathering illegitimate children became their motes operandi since they had no authoritative male figures to look up to. This birthed the clothing, the language, and the social rejection that gave way for this subculture to emerge. All that we see now is a result of lack and fatherless-ness. Should we adapt to that? Or should we show a better way? Should we promote Christian gangsta's and holy thugs? Or should we teach them that the street life is not the only way there is? There is no way to compare the American culture with a street life subculture that was birthed out of rebellion and recklessness. You can't rebel against a culture that you are apart of and expect to excel in that cultures system. So, if you are not a rapper or DJ or some other occupation that is financed by the subculture of hip hop, then you won't make it in the true American culture. Rebellion will only label you an outcast or reject and cause you to be ridiculed and immobilized.

JB of Charisma Magazine - Another thing I would like to better understand is that you mentioned that hip-hop comes from the devil and that it is satan's trick to cause people to worship him and receive his mark. Did you mean all hip-hop?

G. Craig Lewis - Please allow me to restate your question referring to my earlier definition: Did I mean all booty-hop came from the devil? Hmmmm … ultimately yes. However, before I answer where hip-hop came from, let me clear up where it didn’t come from. Obviously, booty-hop did not come from God. I hear a lot people [mostly holy-hip-hoppers] trying to refer to hip-hop in its purest form. Referring to hip-hop as a pure form is like trying to refer to crack as a pure form. crack in itself is a hybrid of cocaine and other chemicals used to cut it. Yet the reason holy hip-hoppers try to make this quantum leap in logic, is so they can somehow say that hip-hop is a gift from God. One very popular Grammy nominated Holy-hip-hop group suggest that on judgment day God will judge us based on what we did with Hip-hop. God has nothing to do with hip-hop. The founding fathers of hip-hop all readily admit that men created hip-hop out of rebellion. So technically, man created hip-hop, but rebellion inspired it. The Bible clearly states that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. What spirit governs rebellion and witchcraft? The devil. So what about holy hip-hip? Surely, they distinguish themselves from the rebellious element of hip-hop don’t they? No, they can’t. Jesus said a kingdom divided against itself can’t stand. Holy hip-hoppers dress like secular hip-hoppers; behave like secular hip-hoppers [throwing up gang signs] and even listen to secular hip-hop so they can emulate them. At one of the holy hip-hop awards shows, a fight broke out east coast against west coast just like secular hip-hop.

When most holy hip hop artists rap, they never refer to it as Holy, but just hip hop. Why is that? Because, there is only one subculture of hip hop and it is not holy! KRS-ONE, the lead prophet and spokesperson for hip hop says that Biggie was [the counterfeit] John the Baptist and Tupac Shakur was [the counterfeit] Jesus Christ and they died for our sins! He is revered and looked up to as the father of holy hip hop. He says in hip hop there are no gods and goddesses, we are the gods and goddesses! He even has T-Bone and BB Jay on his CD called Spiritually Minded, which is sold in Mardels, Family Christian, and all major Christian bookstores. He says he is a prophet and is here to teach the truth about Jesus. He says we are all Jesus Christs and should not worship him or call his name out, but be Jesus. He has Temples of hip hop all over the country and is meeting with holy hip hoppers to join together in efforts to promoting hip hop in the church! In our discussion with Ambassador of the Cross Movement, we urged him to call what he was doing Christian rap and not subscribe to hip hop culture. We asked him why couldn't he just rap for the Lord and use his ability to create rhymes for God without giving credit or props to hip hop. He said he couldn't. He is apart of the hip hop culture and would not denounce it. All rappers believe that rap is the music, but hip hop is the lifestyle or the way of life. This tells us that all hip hoppers have an agenda. Not to just rap, but to promote a rebellious way of life! Hip-hop takes what was once seen as bad and makes it good. Thugs, pimps, and gangstas was once seen as bad but hip-hop says that its good. Holy hip-hoppers are governed by this fundamental element and try to sanctify hip-hip by adding one word holy to everything. Now they say holy thugs, and gospel gangstas as if this will change the essence of hip-hop terms.

JB of Charisma Magazine -And also, what did you mean when you later said that satan can't create anything, that he is anti-God and anti-creation? Just to clarify, it appeared that there was a contradiction in that point. Could you explain your complete thoughts on that?

G. Craige Lewis - Satan did not create hip hop, but he used man to create it. Man has a unique ability that was not giving to satan. Man has God's attribute of creation. The devil took the music, the fatherless-ness, and the false god worship of the Zulu nation, and fused it together to form an anti-Christian movement of Hip Hop. I don't believe the devil created all the things that make up the movement, but he did mastermind the culmination of them all.

JB of Charisma Magazine - Also, how would you respond to the argument that people may bring up from Colossians 1:16-17: For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist? I have heard this text used to defend that use of hip-hop to glorify God and to win people to Christ.

G. Craige Lewis - There is NO biblical example of music ever being used to win souls to Christ or to evangelize. Music as a unique ability to coerce your mind and physiologically causes the release of pleasure chemicals in your brain. Because of this, it's hard for a person to make a good sound decision for Christ with the emotional trappings of music involved. Their decision will be based on feeling rather than fact. I believe that this accounts for much of the schizophrenic Christianity of the modern Church. Many churches heavily use music during their altar calls and people make a decision for Christ without being soberly minded. This leads to a conversion that is based on their emotions rather than their sound judgment. When they go back to their former environment and their emotions change they turn away from God. There is no biblical account of music being listed as a fold in the five-fold ministry or used by the apostles to draw a crowd. Jesus said no man cometh unless the Spirit of God draws him. If you notice, the only people that are really pushing hip hop in the churches are those that profit from it. Since when did the resale industry's method become our model for winning souls? When I speak, we never use music and hard core gang members, pimps, whores, drug dealers, drug users, etc. have come to Christ by the thousands without hip hop or any music!

JB of Charisma Magazine -What do you think of holy hip-hop churches and ministries?

G. Craige Lewis - What's next? What is the church going to do to reach the red-light district? Or the strippers? Are we going to dress up like whores and start whore ministries to reach them? Are we going to dress up like pimps to reach pimps or cross dress to reach homosexuals? [Believe me, some are probably behind the scenes trying to set up these movements even as we speak.] People need the power of the Holy Ghost to change them, not our methods. These are the purpose driven churches that are really people driven! They want big numbers and large offerings, so they turn to fleshly methods and the promotion of their own ideas rather than preaching the truth of the Word of God without compromise. If the holy hip hop churches and ministries were really affective, they would be in the streets with their kind and not in some building acting street! I want all pastors and ministries that are holding on and not giving in to this perverted move of carnality by embracing this demonic sub-culture to know something. You are not alone!

There are hundreds of thousands of churches and ministries out there that are not giving in and just because you see the mega pastors and conferences trying to push this hip hop agenda, stick with what God is telling you. There is something wrong with boys sagging their pants and tattooing their bodies. There is something wrong with girls dressing and acting like prostitutes and hookers. There is something wrong with gospel gangsters and holy thugs wearing grillz and speaking broken English. Stay true to what you know God is saying. Teach the parents and they will effectively minister to their children. Don't sideswipe their authority by bringing in the very images and lifestyles that parents and the education system of America is trying to change.

JB of Charisma Magazine - Thank you Elder Lewis for your responses. I see in one of your answers that you asked to one of the members of Cross Movement to call their music Christian rap. It appears from this dialog that you do not have a problem with someone rapping Christian lyrics -- just not subscribing to the hip-hop lifestyle. Is this assumption correct? Also, what style of music would you say is appropriate for Christians to listen to? Or maybe you wouldn't tell someone what to listen, but how would you teach someone to choose the kind of music that truly glorifies God?

G. Craige Lewis - I am not against rap, or any style of music, but I do not believe that Christian music should exalt the performer at all. If it's Christian, or Christ-like, it should exalt only Christ. The holy hip hoppers promote themselves all in their music because hip hop is self expressive and self serving. That is against the plan of Christ, self denial! I believe a Christian should seek God in every way possible and deny their flesh in every way possible. This includes selfish music that causes us to move in an inappropriate manner or songs that lift up people as idols and do not lift up Christ. Self denial is the root of Salvation and must be practiced as Paul said, daily. So, with our investigative estimations of the gospel music industry being over 95 percent homosexual, self worship is being promoted in music and self promotion is key in being successful as an artists. The only example of this in the Bible is Lucifer, the angel that the bible says iniquity was found in him because of his much merchandising! It also states in Ezekial that the iniquity of his traffic [self promotion] got him cast out and labeled profane.

This is the South American Indian name for the rain forest tree known botanically as Maytenus macrocarpa. Its home is the steamy jungles of Peru, where it is well known and used by the people, especially in and around Iquitos, Peru on the Amazon river.

Because of the remoteness of this area, its use was unknown to the rest of the world until recent times. Yet, it is now, perhaps, the most popularly used rain forest herb in Peru. Life in a jungle environment means dealing with infections, bites and diseases of many kinds. Remedies must be found and used.

Chuchuhuasi serves this multi-purpose function, and it is commonly taken in the liquid extract form. Among Chuchuhuasi's strongest properties is the building of immunity and, at the same time, enhancing sexual activity and function. The ability of Chuchuhuasi to do this has attracted strong scientific interest.

This is accomplished by using the root bark as a liquid and taking orally three times per day. Rather than just working on the relief of symptoms, Chuchuhuasi apparently works on the actual cause of arthritis and, in this manner, restores joints to working order.

This, of course, has aroused considerable excitement in the scientific community. The same can be said regarding Chuchuhuasi's anti-tumor properties. Una De Gato | 10th Arthritis Herb

Una De Gato is a Spanish named herb pronounced [oon-yuh-day-got-toe] that means claw-of-cat or, as we would say in English, cat's claw. In the remote area of Iquitos, Peru, where Una de Gato is at home, it is very widely used and depended upon to handle a wide variety of problems, including those of a serious nature. Here is what is listed in Peru as the traditional and accepted South American Native Folk Medicinal uses of Una de Gato.

Una De Gato can be taken to correct arthritis, rheumatism, cancer, gastritis, irregularities of the female cycle. From all reports, this is one of the South American Indians' very best arthritis remedies. Una de Gato reestablishes the proper immune system orientation for cells that are true friends and those that are the actual foes. Very well documented South American medical information shows Una de Gato to be nearly miraculous in combating cancer, even in advanced stages, where as much as 10% of body cells are in a state of metastasis. We’ve all seen people out of control with [habitual] anger – they drive dangerously, they start fights, they are out of control at home. Some of you may remember the famous basketball coach Bobby Knight who was fired because of his top temper – in other words he was out of control, a-n-d he was out of a job. Maybe you are this person who has the anger stronghold residing in your life daily. The Bible tells us that anger rests in the bosom of fools.

We are all unified in a sense because each of us has been good and angry before, but in Ephesians 4 we are told when angry, do not sin. So this means it is possible to be angry without sinning – this would be called righteous anger. Jesus Himself was livid with anger when he saw the hardness in the hearts of people in Mark 3. God is angry with the wicked everyday as written in the Psalms.

What’s important for you to know, Beloved, is that anger distorts your perception – of everything including all of your relationships. What’s a fact – is that – anger – if left unattended – will, can and presently manifests itself in disease and illness in our bodies, in our families’ bodies and in our church members’ bodies. Former U.S. Surgeon General Everett Koop said anger is the number one health problem. Did you know that one-third of all women who come to emergency room or doctors’ offices for immediate care is because they’ve been battered – that’s irrational anger.

The goal of an abuser [anger as a spiritual root] is to continually destabilize his or her victim – emotionally, spiritually and physically. The goal of satan as the source of all of the anger stronghold is to destroy and kill you [even if that means you kill and destroy other people literally or figuratively through your words, actions, lack of action or silence.] We can easily and logically conclude that any person [Christian] who has the stronghold of anger definitely has problems in all relationships [eventually].

How can we experience the abundant life God intended for us to have when we keep getting tripped up by the stronghold of anger. Here are a few other strongholds intimately attached and intertwined with the anger stronghold that keep a person [Christian] bound:

* the stronghold of injustice can be attached to the anger stronghold;

* the stronghold of resentment can be intertwined with the anger stronghold;

* the stronghold of shame can be a friend of the anger stronghold [1 example: growing up in poverty];

* the stronghold of rejection most often is tied to the hip of the anger stronghold [1 example: one person being favored over another];

* the stronghold of passive-aggression just sits in the lap of the anger stronghold [1 example: take your time getting ready for church when you know someone in the home wants to be on time]; and,

* the stronghold of powerlessness seeks to make itself acquainted with the anger stronghold as early as possible in any relationship [1 example: a child who is molested by a parent, guardian, neighbor, family member or church member].

24 SYMPTOMS OF ANGER - Take The Assessment Now

There are 24 symptoms of anger [covered in this article]. Please understand there are thousands of symptoms of anger that are not listed here. You are very aware that on this Healed People, Heal People Web community, we’re completely focused on the Holy Spirit identifying & destroying the roots of any stronghold or recurring issue in your life [which is integrated healing & deliverance]. So, with that in mind, below are only 24 symptoms, but the spiritual root is anger.

Anger can definitely be passed down generationally [as can any other stronghold]. This anger stronghold is especially more applicable with people who have step parents and it is also very likely to be passed down from your biological parents [even if you were adopted]. So basically, if you are breathing, this stronghold could have been passed down to you.

If you’ll be kind, Beloved, to get a sheet of paper and a pen to answer the following questions. Please put a check mark on your paper for each statement that applies to you.

1 – I feel relatively happy and then I’m struck with a mood change.

2 – I raise my voice loudly to communicate something that I’m emphatic about.

3 – I’ve expressed impatience with others and oftentimes play this out in exasperation asking, Why can’t they get a clue?

4 – I often anticipate another person’s predictable behavior and I become angry when I see that anticipation being fulfilled.

5 – I become angry when others people can’t read my mind.

6 – I become angry when I’m not recognized for my contribution.

7 – I become angry when I feel that I’m being disrespected or my words are not being taken seriously or when I feel like I’m not being heard. [This is real issue with the prophetic community, them feeling like they’re not being heard. One of the surest ways the enemy comes at prophetic people is to make them feel like they are not being heard or respected.]

8 – I know I’m angry because of the language inside of my head.

9 – I know I’m angry when I don’t want to hear what the other person has to say.

10 – I get angry when others do not make me a priority.

11 – I get angry when I do not have what I need.

12 – I get angry when people don’t do what I say.

13 – I get angry when I can’t control a given situation.

14 – I get angry about suggestions that I’ve done something wrong.

15 – I get angry when I feel added pressure on my job or with finances or pressure with personal responsibilities or even expectations others might have of me.

16 – I easily become defensive about myself and about others.

17 – I see the faults in others quickly.

18 – I look for opportunities to bring up old, hurtful subjects. In other words, I keep beating that old dead horse.

19 – I find myself speaking negatively or critically of others.

20 – The phrase, I don’t deserve this, goes through my head frequently.

21 – I say I’ve forgiven, but I continue to reprocess the same subjects.

22 – I get frustrated easily about the perceived faults and mistakes of others.

23 – I become impatient easily.

24 – I feel like my life is harder than everybody else’s and it’s probably because I’ve been given a raw deal.

Now Beloved reader, total you marks.

If you have 1 – 6 checks for anger, you’re in the low percentile range of the anger stronghold.
If you have 7 – 12 checks for anger, you’re in the average percentile range.
If you have 13 – 18 checks for anger, you’re getting up there.
If you have 19 – 24 checks for anger, you and the anger stronghold are extremely well acquainted.

Did you know that most anger is masked, even in you? You don’t even have any idea how much anger is in the person sitting next to you at work, at church, at home, in your family or at the gym.

Beloved, there are many things in this world I don’t know, but one thing I do know is anger. Why do I write this and share it with you so authoritatively? Because anger owned me for a long, long time. As a fact, as I’ve typed this article the Holy Spirit answered a question I’ve been wondering for a real time. Thank You Holy Spirit.

Now, back to my former anger stronghold. I can recognize anger in its prettiest forms in the most gracious Christians. I can recognize anger on planet Pluto. I know mannerable anger in Christians.I know, I'm ticked offf anger and I don't care if you know. I know, I'm watching you, anger. I tell you, passive anger is so common it's like air, it's everywhere among Christians and non-Christians. I can recognize anger in the most agreeable, God-fearing people. I even know respectful anger, particularly from adult children to parents. I know indirect anger that's turned inward to harm oneself. And, I too am affiliated with the violent sides of anger – from death to threats to cat fights to murder to corruption to let me plan your demise. But, you know what, I probably know anger best in the workplace – even amongst evangelical Christians. Lord have mercy.

Christians are very, very good at trying to justify their anger. For example, some parents show their anger in the form of being incredibly strict – so strict that some have quoted scriptures to their children in the process of being overboard in their seething inward anger.

VICTORY OVER ANGER AT THE CROSS

I very clearly remember the night the Holy Spirit removed the roots of this anger stronghold from me. It was such an unexpected experience. I sat on the edge of the bed and asked, Lord, why am I so angry at _________. And He answered me just audibly thereafter. I had been searching and wondering for decades and He finally ended it in less than two minutes. You know how a bath tub has a drain. The Holy Spirit put two drains on me, one on the bottom of my right foot, the other drain on the bototom of my left foot. The Holy Spirit supernaturally drained every ounce of anger physically out of my body. It was the most Holy, quick experience I've had. I simply tilted over on the bed and had the best sleep that I've experienced in decades. And in my mind as I lay on the bed, I said to myself, "It [the anger] is finished." Beloved, do you know when I walked out of the door the next morning and interacted with people, people noticed the absence of anger in me immediately. Now -- they didn't know to call it anger, but the difference was immediate. Thank you Holy Spirit. I like this side of anger much better, now. Remember Beloved, our God [who was Jesus in the flesh] is not a respector of people. He can and will remove your anger too.

If you are going to do business with God, the currency is forgiveness.

Hello Beloved reader. I decided to write this unforgiveness article for you because it helped me. A few months back I attended an open-to-the-public ministry session where these questions were asked. I think many of us Christians were surprised at how many times we answered yes. Remember now – be honest with yourself. No one will see your paper but you.

Unforgiveness is one of the most powerful enemies in the body of Christ today. Do you know how many illnesses or infirmities are directly related to unforgiveness? One thing all people who are called to work in healing and deliverance should know when dealing with illnesses is to learn if the person standing or sitting before them has an issue with unforgiveness.

It is critical to learn if there is a single person that they’ve not forgiven. It is necessary to ask the person when exactly in their life were they diagnosed with the illness. Proceed to ask the person what life events were going on at or near that time. Often, the following are typical responses a person might give.

I've experienced betrayal. I lost my job and the boss could have let another person go because I was there longer. These are two of many reasons any person could share as to why they’ve not forgiven someone.

Now listen, beloved reader, do you know that sometimes people have instantly been healed of their infirmity on the spot once this unforgiveness has been taken care of spiritually. Keep in mind this is one of four things that must be addressed in an integrated healing & deliverance ministry session.

Will you get out a piece of paper and a pen, pretty please? Now, read the statements below. Each time the statement is true for you, make a check mark on your paper. Once you’re done reading each statement on the unforgiveness stronghold, you’ll talley up your score.

Answer these unforgiveness questions honestly

1) I find myself holding grudges.

2) I retreat into isolation from others.

3) I erupt in anger or I boil inside.

4) I think of ways to get even with others who hurt me.

5) I just bury the wrongs done to me without really addressing them.

6) I pity myself.

7) I carry bitterness and anger towards those who have hindered me or willfully, purposely wronged me.

8) Instead of stating the truth, I make excuses for those who wronged or hurt me.

9) I often feel sorry for myself.

10) Occasionally I think I truly am some kind of martyr.

11) Nobody has had it as bad as me.

12) I want to get even with people who’ve cause me pain.

13) I insulate or protect myself behind the walls of defensiveness.

14) I don’t trust others.

15) I just can’t forgive [which really is you want forgive].

16) I’m anger with God for allowing bad things to happen to me.

17) I act like nothing happen instead of confronting issues that have hurt me.

18) I can’t get over my past.

Please talley up your check marks to see how you scored.

If you have 1 – 4 check marks, you’re in the lower percentile [25%] of operating in unforgiveness.

If you have 5 – 9 check marks, you’re in the middle percentile [50%] of operating in unforgiveness. This is average for most Christians. Now, we all know what the Bible clearly states about any unforgiveness, right? So even if you scored in the lowest percentile, it needs to be taken care of.

If you have 10 – 14 check marks, you’re in the upper percentile [75%] of operating in unforgiveness. Yep, you betcha – this sure enough has to be addressed because you’re in bondage beloved.

If you have 15 or more check marks, you very likely have the stronghold of unforgiveness. If you don’t know how to break this stronghold and remove the demons holding it in place in your life, learn or go receive ministry please. Beloved reader, you already know the key to forgiveness is releasing the debt. By forgiving, you are not justifying what the person did to you is okay. By forgiving, you are not minimizing the devastating impact what they did has had on your life.

Well, here's the age old question – why is it that it’s so darn hard to forgive some things, some people. It is because the one time hurt or the repeated hurt has wounded your soul or wounded your spirit or wounded both. Usually the hurt(s), even though they can’t be seen, have really crippled you inside. The crippling could be mentally and/or emotionally and/or physically. Some hurts have downright debilitated some of us to the point that illness occurs.

And if we're transparent here, not forgiving the person make some Christians they have a [false] sense of power over the person [especially if the person wants to be forgiven]. As long as we choose to not forgive any person for any thing, we literally carry that person with us daily. What do I mean? You have a shackle attached to a ball-and-chain at the bottom of your ankle.

The weighted ball-and-chain is directly attached to each person you've not forgiven. You literally carry their body weight around with you all day long. In the shower, to bed with you, in the car with you, to the grocery store with you. More importantly, you carry those you've not forgiven with you mentally and emotionally every day, which is yet another reason you're weighted down internally. Although we still respond to people saying, "We're fine, blessed, highly favored."

So beloved reader – we’re at a crossroads here. The Bible says to forgive and that forgiveness is non-negotiable. Well yeah, this is true. What’s been learned in integrated healing & deliverance is sometimes we first have to have the Holy Spirit take care of the hurts at every spiritual and emotional level before the forgiveness can even be approached. And in very extreme cases, the forgiveness takes times, like in layers, which is better than not at all.

Please know if you are a person who works in ministry or if you are a leader of any kind, people will violate you. You cannot afford to allow this unforgiveness to place you in bondage. Let’s look at Joseph’s life in the Bible. He had so many reasons to not forgive his brothers. What did Joseph do [Genesis 39]? He stayed before the Lord, and yes, he forgave his family. Even though Joseph was a grown man, he sobbed like a child.

What is forgivness?

Is a spiritual decision to release the person, entity, institution or group who hurt you, betrayed you

Is cancelling someone from the consequence of falling short of God’s standard in your life

Is releasing resentment toward the very person who exacted very real hurt on you

Is dismissing our demand that the person owes us something

Is releasing the right to be bitter

Is releasing the right to get even

Is of God

Is releasing the right to hear the words, “I’m sorry.”

Is an act of our spiritual will

Is a process especially for those who’ve been abused/deeply hurt

What forgiveness is not

Is not a feeling

Is not an emotion

Is not being a doormat

Is not conditional

Is not stuffing your anger

Is not based on what’s fair

Is not excusing the wrong done to you

Is not justifying the wrong done to you

Is not you executing God’s wrath

Is not repentance

Is not based on what a person deserves

Is not you waiting for time to heal all wounds

Is not reconciliation [requires a minimum of two people] [forgiveness only requires 1 person]

Is not enablement [a form of people pleasing and repeatedly having no boundaries]

Is not letting the guilty off the hook, you are placing them on God’s hook

Is not denying that the wrong happened to you

The characteristics of an unforgiver

Danger - If you persist in resisting and disobeying God by being unforgiving [or whatever the sin is], you can eventually to given over to the influence of evil, satan and immorality. Acts 7:42

does not agree with God that sin is sin

delayed or even the prevention of spiritual growth

heart is turned away from God

go through verbal acts of repentance

an unforgiver often has diseases & functionally sick

is limited in hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit

an unforgiver can have psychological problems

an unforgiver can be a person laden with stress

elevate yourself above your offender

you’re emotionally stuck to your offender

you share negative information about offender

automatically open the door to satan and his demons

a hardened heart, a condemning heart

tend to be verbally abusive

blind that you’re becoming like your offender

an unforgiver ages faster

being an unforgiver affects your body’s ability to fight disease by weakening your immune system

an unforgiver can have emotional instability – fly off the handle easily or show very little emotion

Define the spirit of unforgivness, which is a stronghold

A simple word to describe this spirit of unforgiveness – hurt, a person who is deeply hurt.

A spirit of unforgiveness goes beyond temporary unwillingness to forgive.

The spirit of unforgiveness is a spiritual acid that eats through the spirit within us.

The spirit of unforgiveness is a supernatural cancer that slowly and deliberately eats you up.

There is a long time period between the time you are hurt and the time you forgive the person who hurt you.

When does unforgiveness become a stronghold?

When you refuse to forgive and the unresolved anger develops a fortified place in your mind and heart; you become mentally captive to do the enemy’s will. Ephesians 6:16

The three parts of forgiveness

Part 1 |Horizontal line of The Cross -- Forgiving others and others forgiving you

Especially needed toward family and church members because this is where most hurts come from

Part 2 | Vertical line of The Cross -- Receiving God forgiveness and us releasing God

Why do Christians have the most difficulty forgiving themselves than any other person?

Lie no. 1 - Sin we committed, the offense is too big to forgive

Lie no. 2 - We knew better and committed the sin anyway

Lie no. 3 - It’s a habitual sin and we continue to do it, it doesn’t deserve grace

Lie no. 4 - We’re so shamed by the sin, we should not exchange the shame for forgiveness

Lie no. 5 – You believe you don’t deserve forgiveness because of who you are

Here, it’s effective to say your own name.

For example, “Your name goes right here, I forgive myself for ____.”

So why do you not forgive when you know to do so

What was done to you or by you was too big

The hurt was planned, intentional and/or repeated

No modeling of forgiveness from our parents

They didn’t forgive me, I will not forgive them

You deny it never happened

Don’t understand God’s forgiveness

You believe the lie that bitterness is a normal response because God knows how you feel.

The pain is so deep [even though it may be simple to others] you just don’t know where to begin.

It is here where you allow the Holy Spirit to heal the pain completely first, then you’re able to forgive.

How does unforgiveness affect your prayer life?

I began smoking cigarettes as a teenager when I was a 7th grader.

My parents smoked and several of my friends.

It looked like such an enjoyable thing to do as well as looking cool and grown-up.

Almost needless to say, a habit of 5-7 a day soon became a ritual.

As the years progressed, I got pregnant with my second child and was encouraged by my doctor to quit and I did.

Since my husband was a smoker, it begin to appeal to me again.

Admittedly, trying not to smoke once you have been a smoker and you live with a smoker is challenging at best through human efforts.

So, I started smoking again.

Another doctor encouraged me to quit since I developed high blood pressure/hypertension.

Even though I only smoked 1 cigarette a day after supper in the restroom so my children wouldn’t see me, it was still a habit and just as difficult to quit.

This time, I prayed for the Lord to take the desire away.

As of today, I haven’t had another cigarette since.

That has been at least 15+ years ago.

For whomever may be wrestling with the smoking habit, I encourage you, my sister, brother, or future Christian, to believe the Lord will deliver you, too, if you sincerely desire to be delivered.

A biblical complete set of instructions for the smoker who is dying to give up smoking!

Why is it so difficult to stop?

Jesus said that the devil is a murderer from the beginning and cigarettes are one of his preferred methods of killing humans since it is such a slow, seductive, and finally painful process.

As we study the origins of smoking tobacco products it becomes clear that there are many spiritual roots, which hold a person in bondage to this habit. The benefit of the following teaching has been proven over several years and as readers exercise their freewill to pray and cut off the spiritual roots associated with smoking, freedom will result. Let's start with a story.

True story
When I was only about six, my older brother found a brand new packet of cigarettes beside the road and we felt very grown up as we smoked almost the whole packet between us.

By the time dad arrived home from work we both were very sick and probably looked green. When he smelt the tobacco and enquired if we had been smoking we lied at first but were questioned till the truth came out!

I am so glad, now, to have been put off smoking by that experience. Although I did experiment with cigars and a pipe in my 30s, I couldn't forget how sick I had felt as a child. I have since seen a lot of sick and spiritually bound friends who have ignored the warnings on tobacco and cigarette packets.

Out of concern for two friends who were heavy smokers, I studied the historical spiritual roots of smoking tobacco and was amazed.

Soon after finishing my research, I prayed with a taxi driver who wanted to quit smoking explained the history of tobacco etc. and he was set free of his habit of years through deliverance ministry, dealing with the various roots.

Many other friends have seen the victory, but some only partially since I have found that you must deal thoroughly with the roots of this dying habit.

In many countries the law requires that warnings be printed on cigarette and tobacco packets e.g. Smoking causes lung cancer. Smoking causes heart disease. Smoking causes fatal diseases, etc.

True story
One morning as I sat having morning tea with a friend, I asked him how he could still use cigarettes in spite of the warning on each packet that it causes fatal diseases. My friend got very upset and almost shouted, "It does not say causes!"

I asked him to read what his packet said and he read aloud with amazement, "Smoking causes lung cancer." He paused, looking quite stunned. "I've never seen that word causes before!" he said quietly. The demons of addiction had blinded him to the truth.

So first, it's helpful to understand the spiritual background to smoking; and therefore, why it is so difficult to stop.

1. Biblical roots

This sin is described in Deuteronomy: "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer [one who consults the dead] or all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord; and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee."
Deuteronomy 18:10-12

Incense = Idolatry. Also, the burning of incense like tobacco is described as a form of idolatry in the Bible and is condemned as an abomination to God.

"He that killeth an ox [is as if] he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, [as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as if he offered] swine's blood; he that burneth incense, [as if] he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose [that] in which I delighted not." Isaiah 66:3 - 4

Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the Lord, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.
Jeremiah 44:23

"A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable [things is in] their vessels; Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou.

These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. Behold, [it is] written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom." [Lungs?]
Isaiah 65:3 -7

The incense that we should burn is prayer; Let my prayer be set forth before thee [as] incense; [and] the lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice.
Psalm 141:2

Next, the great Spanish explorer, Christopher Columbus, had to smoke the Indians peace pipe of tobacco before he would be accepted by the North American Indian tribes. So now we can see the typical.

2. Emotional roots | Most smokers will acknowledge that they have taken up the habit through fear of rejection by their peer group who were experimenting with smoking and thought it was cool. When they are rejected, people seek a comforter and tobacco smoking, like over-eating, masturbation, drug taking, even expressing violence can be the false comforter they turn to.

Christopher Columbus took the tobacco curse back with him to Europe in the 16th century, where one of its early uses was as a medicine, and from where its use spread throughout the world.

3. Chemical roots | The tobacco plant [nicotiana tabacum] is a member of the group of plants described as the solanaceae group. Solanaceae means comforter and nicotine is renowned for the sense of false comfort that it gives to the addict, yet nicotine is used as an agricultural insecticide. This group of plants includes the potato and the deadly nightshade or belladonna plant.

4. Bodily roots/effects | Nicotine causes disorders of the respiratory system, dizziness, increased blood pressure, and disturbances of hearing and vision.

It seems that the first thing that the spirits behind smoking do, is to mask the true taste of the tobacco. The taste, which is disgusting to a non-smoker, becomes attractive to a smoker.

A simple prayer asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the true taste of the tobacco is sometimes enough to cause a smoker to seek to be free of the habit. However, without prayer, and once hooked, smokers usually carry on smoking even though the smell rejects non-smokers.

True story
One of my nephews was a smoker, a drinker and loved rock music. However, we loved him enough to pray for him as a family one day; binding satan, all spirits of addiction to nicotine through smoking, alcohol and rock music, in intercessory prayer. He was not present!

We prayed that God would let him see these things for what they are, to taste the true taste and to help him to find the real Comforter, God's Holy Spirit. Only two weeks later he became a Christian and his testimony was that he had tried to drink a Bacardi and Coke but it tasted like poison.

He reached for a cigarette but couldn't smoke it as it tasted disgusting, and that when he looked at his rock music posters in his bedroom, he saw how evil they were for the first time. So, he got down on his knees and prayed and asked Jesus to come into his life and; "Boy, did He come!" He testified to us.

"While smoking tobacco directly destroys the lungs, nicotine slowly damages the arteries and the heart. In its pure form nicotine is one of the most powerful poisons known. A direct link between lung cancer and tobacco was established in 1950." [Penguin Hutchinson Reference Library.]

Having achieved his end to slowly kill the unaware smoker, satan then offers those who want to try to give up, his alternative remedies. These often only lead to greater bondage eventually. Products like nicotine patches [the poison without the pong!], a program named after an Egyptian false god, i.e. the Isis program, and Hypnosis.

Hence, many people get out of the frying pan and into the fire. The real cure = cut out the roots of this multiple bondage til the tree falls over.

Perhaps you need to repent of:

1) the fear of rejection by [a peer group];
2) lying [to anyone like parents];
3) rebellion against [anyone like parents];
4) self-will;
5) lack of self-control; and,
6) seeking false comforters.

Renounce:

1) All historic roots;
2) Communication with familiar spirits (even in ignorance);
3) challenging or worshipping death;
4) burning incense, therefore Idolatry; and,
5) damaging the temple of the Holy Spirit. Your body is where the Holy Spirit dwells.

Renounce the ungodly lie
"Man, this is living."
Then believe, speak and confess the truth
Smoking is death in disguise

Renounce the ungodly lie
"I'll be accepted."
Then believe, speak and confess the truth
"Cigarettes make you stink."

Renounce the ungodly lie
"Smoking just comforts me."
Then believe, speak and confess the truth
"Smoking is an addiction."

Renounce the ungodly lie
"Cigarettes tastes great."
Then believe, speak and confess the truth
"Cigarettes taste like poison."

An excellent way to help you quit the habit is to put a small New Testament Bible in the pocket where you would normally keep your smokes. Then you have three choices when the habit to reach for a smoke nudges you.

1st choice: Read God's Word, which is health and medicine to all your flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22

2nd choice: Read God's Word, and smoke, or

3rd choice: Smoke and ignore God's medicine. Die young!

However, don't let the devil make you feel condemned if you can't immediately quit a long-standing addictive habit. Ask Jesus to help you one day at a time. Perhaps hum the tune when you feel like a smoke! "One day at a time, sweet Jesus, that's all I'm asking of you." Pray!

The following steps will help you to freedom. These are based on the principle of drawing nigh to God, resisting the devil and then, God’s Word promises that, he shall flee from you!

1. So call on the Lord and ask Jesus to help you one day at a time. Remember that His Holy Spirit is The Helper.

2. Throw away all items associated with smoking, even ashtrays, and all eastern incense and idols.

3. Tell every spirit associated with your addiction to leave you and never to return, in Jesus' name!

A true testimony

"After 17 years of smoking, I have stopped!" I didn't just give up - I just got on a winning team. Jesus did the work for me. This testimony is not a condemnation of smokers - I pray it will help someone, somewhere. During the 17 years that I was chained to nicotine I tried all sorts of methods to give up - hypnosis, Isis, patches, cold turkey, cutting down, etc. -- and contrary to advertising myths, you don't get your money back.

I was amazed at how I could do without practically everything else except my beloved cigarettes [my best friend]. I would even choose buying a packet of cigarettes over something my baby needed. And when I was really desperate, you guessed it, I rolled those butts up! After failing so many times and everyone sick of hearing I'm giving up smoking' song - I sought deliverance prayer.

First I had to pray about praying - to learn what might be behind my bondage. This led me to remembering that I had enticed others into smoking when I was a kid, so I needed to apologize to God for this and ask His forgiveness as well as for deliverance from the spiritual bondage.

I believe, because I had been baptized in the Holy Spirit, prayer was able to release me from the cravings. Although this was just the beginning, it marked the start of the battle. The sword had been drawn - my job was to determine who, or which side, I was giving the sword to. The choice was mine.

Here's what I mean. Every time a trigger set my mind off about smoking I started to think praise and worship thoughts towards Jesus - thanking Him for setting me free and breaking the chains of bondage. I would just keep doing this until the thoughts of smoking were no longer there. Initially I was doing this a dozen times a day, maybe two or three times in a row. It was a battle, but one I was allowing Jesus to fight for me.

Three times I was lazy and allowed my mind to entertain the smoking triggers - three times after receiving prayer I had a cigarette. Although it's important to point out that I didn't crave nicotine, but I had entered the trap. I had allowed the thoughts to penetrate and lead to no good.

Over a year later, I still get the occasional trigger and each time I thank Jesus for continuing to break those chains. I can't believe I haven't smoked for so long and neither can members of my family. They honestly thought that I was so spiritually attached to it that I would be smoking until the day I died.

In fact the very experience has spoken volumes to my grandmother who has strengthened her own faith through this and also my sister who has given her heart to the Lord because she has seen through this just how real He is. Deuteronomy 18:10-13
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.

Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. [NIV]

Deuteronomy 18:10-13
For example, any Israeli who presents his child to be burned to death as a sacrifice to heathen gods must be killed. No Israeli may practice black magic, or call on the evil spirits for aid, or be a fortune teller, or be a serpent charmer, medium, or wizard, or call forth the spirits of the dead.

Anyone doing these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord, and it is because the nations do these things that the Lord your God will displace them. You must walk blamelessly before the Lord your God. [TLB]

Isaiah 66:3-4
But whoever sacrifices a bull is like one who kills a man, and whoever offers a lamb, like one who breaks a dog's neck; whoever makes a grain offering is like one who presents pig's blood, and whoever burns memorial incense, like one who worships an idol.

They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; so I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring upon them what they dread. For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me." [NIV]

Isaiah 66:3-4
"But those who choose their own ways, delighting in their sins, are cursed. God will not accept their offerings. When such men sacrifice an ox on the altar of God, it is no more acceptable to him than human sacrifice. If they sacrifice a lamb or bring an offering of grain, it is as loathsome to God as putting a dog or the blood of a swine on his altar!

When they burn incense to him, he counts it the same as though they blessed an idol. I will send great troubles upon them -- all the things they feared, for when I called them, they refused to answer, and when I spoke to them, they would not hear. Instead, they did wrong before my eyes and chose what they knew I despised." [TLB]

Isaiah 65:3-7
A people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of unclean meat; who say, 'Keep away; don't come near me, for I am too sacred for you!'

Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day. "See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps; both your sins and the sins of your fathers," says the Lord. "Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains and defied me on the hills, I will measure into their laps the full payment for their former deeds." [NIV]

Isaiah 65:3-7
All day long they insult me to my face by worshiping idols in many gardens and burning incense on the rooftops of their homes. At night they go out among the graves and caves to worship evil spirits, and they eat pork and other forbidden foods. Yet they say to one another, 'Don't come too close, you'll defile me! For I am holier than you!'

They stifle me. Day in and day out they infuriate me. "See, here is my decree all written out before me: I will not stand silent; I will repay. Yes, I will repay them not only for their own sins but for those of their fathers too,' says the Lord, 'for they also burned incense on the mountains and insulted me upon the hills. I will pay them back in full. [TLB]

The very reason all these terrible things have befallen you is because you have burned incense and sinned against the Lord and refused to obey him." [TLB]

Miracle prayer

Lord Jesus, I come before you just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In your name I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce satan and his evil spirits and all their works. I give you my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever. I believe that God the Father raised you from death and that you are alive to save me right now.

I invite you into my life, Jesus, and I accept you as my Lord God and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit. Come, Lord Jesus, cover me with your precious blood and fill me with your Holy Spirit. I love you, Lord Jesus. I praise you, Lord Jesus.
