Description

ARNICA - For external use only. Think of Arnica in cases of physical shock to the nervous system such as a tooth extraction, broken bones, headaches, blows to the head, sprains, and physical shock to the nervous system due to bosses, the stock market, raising children, rush hour traffic, etc.

For external application simply apply the extract directly to the area, or for more serous injury, dip cotton or gauze in the extract and wrap it around the affected area. An overnight soak can be made for serious cases by putting 40 to 80 drops in a cup of water and dampening a cloth or gauze with the solution and covering the injured area.

Cover this plastic sandwich wrap and hold in place with a bandage. Change the dressing once a day to allow the area to dry before reapplying the dressing. If the skin is sensitive, then apply Vitamin E oil with Selenium from 100 to 400 i.u. capsules prior to the dressing. The area can also be washed between dressings.

Be sure to discard old dressing and never reuse. Most sprains respond rapidly and are usually corrected with a single overnight dressing or a simple single external application by rubbing in the drops.

Arnica can also be used on the pulse points -- 5 to 10 drops on each wrist and temple and back of the neck for emotional and physical shocks, upsets, anxiety or when frightened. For sore throat remedy, spray with a spray bottle the sore area, using a mixture of 10 drops of the extract to one tablespoon of water.

CAUTION | For external use only. With arthritic and rheumatic pain, external applications to the unbroken skin are used. Arnica's action is swift in recent injury. Repeat as needed. For older injuries, be prepared to work for two to three weeks. If dental work, apply to face and neck before and after treatment. If surgery, apply to area to be worked on and after surgery apply around the area.

Recently while on vacation I had an irritation between my legs. I assumed I was getting a rash from shaving my legs.

The irritation got worse daily and I decided to have my husband take a look.

It was a huge boil. I reached in to my suitcase and got out my one ounce spray bottle of Arnica, that goes everywhere with me.

I sprayed the area and let it dry. My husband suggested putting a band-aide on the area so it wouldn't rub causing additional pain. I sprayed the white part of the band-aide and put it on my leg and went on my way without pain.

Before I went to bed I removed the band-aide and gave the area a final spray. The next morning the pain was gone and so was the boil!

Thanks Pure Herbs!
